Subject: How Much Faith Do You Lose In This Generation...

Ew, my username. :C

I came up with it when I was 10.

What the -blam!-. That's all I have to say.

I was a finalist :P

It's not the the majority; it's just a bunch of (most likely) spoiled brats who don't know what it's like to receive an income.

They should be grateful to have a warm home, where they have access to clean food and water.

I feel like untainted food and water are basic human rights, not something that you need to be grateful for. My opinion of course.

ALOT of people do not have those things. So its IS something we should be grateful for.

  • 12.26.2012 4:30 AM PDT

None. There has always been spoiled kids and will always continue to be spoiled kids. Not only our generation you know.

I never knew how bad my Generation was until I saw these tweets. Like I know we're pretty bad... but jesus.

I believe it's a minority. At least I hope it is.

No. No it is not.

There will come a day when society will realize that kids are treated too softy, and being kids and all they will keep pushing and pushing the rules.

Well, I'm 13, and I got a Microsoft Surface, which I'm typing on right now. The reason I was given it was because I wanted to give it to my Mom so badly for Christmas, and my Mom loved how much I wanted to get this, no matter the cost, so she let me have it instead.

Thoughts?

  • 12.26.2012 5:27 AM PDT

This generation, isn't that bad. I was born in '97 and there alot of people who I know are going to succede in life, as well as those that are going to piss their life away. this generation is just like any other on the whole.

LOL. I got a worksuit, some books, and some good warm clothes for Christmas. This was honestly one of the best Christmas's I've had in a long while.

And I bought my damn truck by myself lol.

Can't imagine all the -blam!-ing that would occur if the power went out or something. Good lord talk about being spoiled and not even knowing it.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lube.

The parents of those kids are bonafide -blam!-. If I had kids that lashed out like that, I would beat/spank them and kick them out of the house for a day.

Kids need to learn to respect their parents.

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

You will -blam!- bricks when you see what game it is! =)

How about you ignore the critics, and try it out for yourself. It's amazing.

Well, every generation has spoiled brats. Those people have always been out there. However, I have slim to no hope for any of the upcoming generations.

If I was interested, I would have waited a few months for the Surface Pro so that I could have a 64 bit, i5 processor, 1920x1080 display, full Windows 8, and the ability to run full version of Microsoft Office.

I haven't "lost my faith in this generation", whatever that's supposed to mean. I just think the quoted individuals are unbelievably stupid and have no idea how privileged they are.

  • 12.26.2012 5:47 AM PDT

Never make me angry. I am a Hitman and I can easily find you and take you out.

I don't understand these kind of people. I would never hate my parents, I do everything for them, they only have to ask.

But yeah, every generation has spoiled brats. And it won't be any different in the future. You'll see that in the future they're gonna say "Aw damn I didn't get one of those newest hover car models with built-in minibar and a holo-deck. My parents are lame, I hate them forever!!"

-__-

I'm so glad I'm not like them. I really am.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

There is always more than one side to every story.

There are a few represented in that list which I suspect aren't any more spoiled than any of us posting here.

In the top right, you'll see
"Kinda pissed I didn't get the iPhone4, but iPod touch? Good Christmas anyways..."

I get the feeling this guy was told by his parents "Son, if you do ________, _________, and __________, you might get an iPhone4 for Christmas! I love you!" that he did all that stuff very well, or at least he thinks he did very well, and then ended up getting something different.

Imagine your boss telling you he'll give you a day off if you finish your work by 3pm instead of 5pm, you bust your balls to do so, and when you clock out at 3pm he just says "ok, I'll see you tomorrow"

They are things which are there for us because of the hard work of countless individuals over more years than I care to count. To say we shouldn't be grateful for them is ludicrous. I genuinely can't see how your argument works at all. "Food and water are basic human rights" in no way implies or leads on to "we shouldn't be grateful for food and water".
