Fair play

Black ops 2, if you are a competitive gamer.

Blops 2. If you generally like CoD this will keep you occupied for a while.

Where as creed will entertain you for a week at the most.

I'll make it short and simple.

Black Ops 2 -

Worst campaign in any game I have ever played, ever. I couldn't stand playing three levels and I always finish campaigns of a new game.

Multiplayer is basically the same business, except I've noticed far more camping in this CoD for some reason than in the past.

Sound is horrible, like BO1 - all the guns sound like pea shooters.

Assassins Creed 3 -

An alright campaign to begin with, but it heats up toward the middle and end. The new modes are entertaining, and the combat system is refreshing for a short while - then it's back to counter camping.

Multiplayer I have not played much of. For some reason I've not enjoyed AC multiplayer since brotherhood. Mainly because I find the maps so boring to play in and all the characters look and feel so boring.

I would buy AC, unless you are looking for a lolzy multiplayer game to play with friends.

One of those games is nothing but a forgettable installment in a generic, milked-out franchise that brings nothing worthwhile whatsoever to any gaming collection. So I'd give that one a miss and get Black Ops II instead.

Yeah... I'm that cool.
Robot Academy. Kinda sorta the best group on here.

Haven't played AC3 yet, but I'm enjoying BO2 a lot. It just depends on what type of game you prefer.

Arguably the most "milked" franchises on Xbox/PS3. I'd wait for an actual game to come out in 2013, or just take the cash and buy something else/put it in the bank.

I own 7 CoD games and 3 AC games and have no desire to ever play either series again.

Personally, I would recommend neither. They're both generic sequels/reskins that add nothing major to their respective franchises. But OP seems to have decided he wants one or the other, and as I see it, Black Ops II is the lesser of the two evils.

OP, if you're open to other options, I'd recommend waiting and checking out these titles:

Bioshock Infinite
Watch_Dogs
Remember Me
The Last Of Us
Crysis 3 (worthwhile if you have a high-end PC)

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

Haven't played Blops 2 yet, but all I know is that AC3 is a stain to the franchise.

Abhorrent characters, Star Wars prequel level storytelling, clunky gameplay, poor level design and glitches. So many goddamn glitches.

I simply perfer AC3 because BO2 was the very first campaign I couldn't stand playing through without either just laughing my way to turning the xbox off, or wanting to scratch the campaign information off of my disc. Easily the worst experience I've ever had of a campaign, I just felt like the writers were treating me like a 2 year old when playing it...... or that it was written by one.

AC brought a new type of multiplayer to the table which is what I liked in it at first. I mainly play AC for the story, I'm not fussed about the gameplay and never was. But that's of course my opinion.

Well you'll get way more out of your money with AC3. Huge singleplayer and unique multiplayer.
