So my mother explained to me the story about a box of Legos that was shipped to our house for one of my nephews. At first she initially thought it had not been shipped and contacted Amazon about it, they returned the charge as if it never happened.
Guess what we have? That box of Legos was found later and my mother contacted them saying that she found it, still waiting for a response. I'm trying to rationalize the thought of don't even bother contacting them, because it's almost pointless to re-charge for the same box when you have it already.
Then I was told that it was stealing, just as if my brother in-law walked into my room and started taking my Blu-Rays because I have a few of them. Their main argument was the principle of honesty no matter what, while I am trying to rationalize everything based on circumstance.
I'd obviously never take the wallet of a person who dropped it within my eye sight, but if I found $100 in the parking lot of a store I wouldn't be knocking on windows looking for who's it is.
In regards to "taking what is and isn't your's", how would you have dealt with the box of Legos after you discovered you had them all along? Remember, you already contacted Amazon and they gave you a refund.
