Dear Floodians:

A Girl thread a day keeps the ladies at bay and gets us banned, the lonely single way.

Anyone else thought it was really bad?

I hated how at the end every bit of logic departed from Merlin's brain in his quest to save Arthur.

Some examples:
- Arthur has two days to live at most? Let's take a nap.
- We've done 99% of the way and we're not going to make it? Summoning that huge dragon to carry us for the remaining 3 miles sounds like a failproof plan!

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I thought Merlin was an old dude but isn't he a kid in the show?

I know right? I don't understand why he didn't use the dragon at the fight in the first place. Stupid Merlin.

I've got a fan!

Would've been cool if there had been a Stargate tie-in.

I haven't actually seen the last episode yet, there's still 2 weeks for it to go here in Australia. But so far in the season, I don't know... Most of the episodes are hit or miss.

My one big gripe is how much of an ass Merlin has been this season. ESPECIALLY to Mordred. I know Mordred is "supposed" to be the enemy and all, but the only reason being because Kilgarrah said so is kind of weak. And whereas before Merlin would always question the dragon's judgement, now he eats it up like cereal. It's a pain to watch Mordred developing as a character and having him at Arthur's side only to be halted by Merlin at every turn to an idiotic extent. And it's Merlin's continuous suspicions that led Mordred back to Morgana anyway.

Tl:dr, I've liked Mordred this season way more than Merlin, and this Sunday when the final 2 episodes begin I'll be rooting for Mordred.

To be fair, in the betrayal episode of Mordred, Merlin didn't do that much except for warning Arthur that Mordred was going to escape with that stupid girl of his, which didn't do much seeing as he already escaped with her and it would have been obvious who set her free.
