I thought it was pretty good, the villain motivations were bad though and there were some other moments I didn't like. I would like to propose some changes, WITHOUT CHANGING THE MOVIE TOO HEAVILY. Here's what I would have done differently:

1.) Not have Bruce be crippled. Have him have been training intensely for 8 years, eager to return as Batman (which is similar to what's in the actual movie, in that he eagerly wanted to return as Batman). This way, it'll make Bane look better in that he crushed a Batman all trained up, also I think it makes more sense.

2.) Have one scene showing guards using the ropes to explain how the prisoners were getting food and water. Show another quick scene showing all the guards leaving to join Bane. This just clarifies how the prisoners got food and why Bruce was alone when he escaped.

3.) Have Bruce figure out to use the rope on his own! Not have the Doctor tell him! Seriously, it's just better. Have the Doctor tell him he needs the fear of death at the most, and then have Bruce realize the only way is to be like the child.

4.) Okay, here's my biggest change: Have Bane be unaware the bomb will explode on its own. Have him actually want to cause a revolution, and have only Talia the one who wants to blow up Gotham for revenge. Bane then finds out Talia betrayed him with Batman tells Bane after his beatdown that the bomb will explode. Now, after Talia stabs Batman and stuff, Talia AND Bane escape, and you can replace the Bane death scene with someone else, like Barsad.

Now, on the truck, there's a wildly different ending. Bane and Talia are in the truck, and Talia is saying stuff about her father and stuff. Bane, feeling betrayed, and not wanting the city to be completely blown up for no reason, he sacrifices himself by blowing up a grenade or something, causing the truck to fall down and it kills both him and Talia. What does this do?

-Gives Bane a better death I feel, redeems himself somewhat, plus it doesn't make him an afterthought like in the actual movie

-Stops Batman being the one from killing Talia and her driver (Seriously watch the scene, Batman straight up shoots the driver)

-Makes the motivations of the characters a little better I think.

I'd appreciate if you guys tell me what you thought of my changes.

These changes are just plain stupid.

The only changes I would make is to give more fight in Banes death, like maybe he fights Batman and Catwoman, nearly wins then Catwoman blows him up.

Don't have Gordon saying 'Bruce Wayne?' and have Alfred nod, but no scene showing Bruce. Add some mystery.

- Batman

I would have times when we see the reactions of the people of Gotham. We barely have any of this in the film compared to the first two. I wanted to see if they were supporting Bane and if so why.

Second was that I wanted to have at least a little bit of Batman being Batman, going around and stopping small time crime, and owning criminals.

Finally I would have liked a better death for Bane. At least removing Catwomans line which hugely cheapens it.

Other than that I wouldn't change anything.

Why don't you elaborate on why my changes are stupid?

I don't like your first change, I don't think Catwoman should be the one to kill Bane at all. And because Batman doesn't kill, the only cool way I can imagine Bane from dying is suicide for a cause.

Second change, alright, I agree

Third change I hear a lot of people say, and I think it's terrible. This isn't inception, it's not supposed to be a mystery.

All good changes. What are your thoughts on mine?

Change Bane's death. Obviously Batman does not kill. Make Batman subdue Bane (again lel) then the people of the police who are fighting come in and hold him at gun point. Like the Joker where the swat team come and arrest him.

When Batman leaves, you hear gun shots.

I've got a fan!

Changes:

-Talia wants to destroy Gotham to avenge her father, not to complete his goal
-Bruce went into solitude because his company began creating too many weapons (this would have allowed Talia to still use a bomb made by Wayne Enterprises without going pants-on-head with a nuclear reactor becoming a bomb)
-The doctor in the prison would spend weeks rehabilitating Bruce, rather than just punching him in the back
-Give Robin the name of one of the original Robins...and not the actual first name of "Robin".

About this, the general audience wouldn't then get the connection.

Can you address my ideas please?

I like your changes, except the idea of Bane killing Talia. I don't think he'd really care if the bomb went off, as long as Talia wanted it.

As for Robin, anything could have been more subtle than "You should use your real name...Robin" (para).

It's just that they change the some of the important points in the plot. At the start Bruce is weak and retired, and welcomes death, all due to his past mistakes in TDK. Having him eage to become Batman would have taken some of those elements away. And Bane wanted punishment to Bruce, taking away his want to destroy Gotham would have made is character less threatening.

I pretty much agree. I don't like the idea of Batman becoming a cripple. I think he should have kept on fighting as Batman, but because pretty much all criminals are put away, the world doesn't need Batman any more. Then he can become depressed about that, not just because his girlfriend died.

2.) Have one scene showing guards using the ropes to explain how the prisoners were getting food and water. Show another quick scene showing all the guards leaving to join Bane. This just clarifies how the prisoners got food and why Bruce was alone when he escaped.

Maybe, but I think it is fine as it is.

3.) Have Bruce figure out to use the rope on his own! Not have the Doctor tell him! Seriously, it's just better. Have the Doctor tell him he needs the fear of death at the most, and then have Bruce realize the only way is to be like the child.

Sure. I think it makes sense that all the prisoners know about the child, Bane would have made sure of it, that way they would keep hope alive.

I like that change, but Bane should still die there. But I would like the sense of betrayal he might feel. That both him and Bruce had been betrayed by Talia. They are very similar characters if you think about it, and this would have shown how their fates were almost the same.

I don't like this ending at all. Sorry.

-Gives Bane a better death I feel, redeems himself somewhat, plus it doesn't make him an afterthought like in the actual movie

I seriously think Bane should have been left paralyzed, but we don't actually know if he died or not, similar to the fate of the Joker and Scarecrow.

-Stops Batman being the one from killing Talia and her driver (Seriously watch the scene, Batman straight up shoots the driver)

I'll have to watch it again to comment.

-Makes the motivations of the characters a little better I think.

Somewhat.

I quite like some of your changes, but others I don't think would work, I hope I have explained my reasoning for both views in this post :)

I like your idea for Bane's death. Bane's death was the only negative I feel in the movie.

1) It was supposed to show Bruce that "fighting harder" isn't good enough. Remember, the problem with Bruce was that in the beginning he was willing to embrace death, because he only saw one destiny; be a martyr for his city. Him being broken and having to do the climb was supposed to help him remember fear is a powerful agent to who he is.

2) Plotholes but remember, It's Bane's prison, he does what he wants. If I recall the prison is there to torture one with the idea of escaping. Bruce had a benefit most other prisoners didn't, Bane wanted to keep him alive so Bruce probably got nourishment but remember the prison is supposed to be hell.

3) It would be very cheesy to have Bruce explain it/ talking to himself. The whole theme of the trilogy is Batman is constantly learning from mentors about justice and his crusade.

4) Then the stakes wouldn't be higher if bane knew. The bomb and the revolution were created to both torture Bruce and the people. Basically, let them suffer for a long time then kill them. Also it wouldn't make sense that Taila would betray Bane, Bane is supposed to be loyal to her. Also if you idea did work then it would mean Bane would be an anti hero and that potentially, there could be a plothole at the end because people could have still believed in the revolution and see Bane as a martyr.

I think Batman should've learned how to transform into a helicopter inspector gadget style, by way of surgical implants that could've been inserted when they fixed his spine in the pit.
