I never had a virus because i'm overcautious. I refuse to click random links on google meaning I don't "google" things.

My Mom's computer has a virus however. She was letting my youngest brother use it when he, obsessed with angry birds, sees an ad while browsing that says "Free angry birds!" so he asked mom who just said "whatever" because it is his birthday party. He ended up downloading something which led to a virus.

I NEVER LET LITTLE CHILDREN USE MY COMPUTER AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME.

Stupidity, when sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic

My little brother basically killed my laptop. It's infested now.

The Secret Society 95% of activity is me, I could use some help.

My little brother got me a virus about a month ago. It was one of those search engine viruses that pretends to be a search engine but then when you use it it starts entering into your computer. Fortunately it was very simple to get rid of and no harm came to my computer.

Yeah I would understand that much caution if you don't know much about computers. But since I do, I know which links are fishy and which aren't. I don't have to limit myself to not clicking "random" links.

Have had a PC for years and never got a virus.

Never. I don't even have anti virus software.

A long time ago. My computer had around thirty-forty viruses on it. I exterminated all but some came back. I put my computer down.

Probably like 2-3 years ago. As for my family member within the past few months even though most of them don't look at pr0n or suspicious sites.

If pro is the opposite of con, then the opposite of progress is...

I had a stomach virus a few weeks ago; does that count?

Why am I not surprised that I saw this?

I was like 10 or something and I tried downloading some "Game maker" program because I thought I could make complex games at the age of 10 for some reason.

Nah I have seen their histories and before you say they delete it they don't. They can barely do anything computer related other than browsing the web. Hell I have seen like one pr0n site on my mom's a whole back, but other than that none. Really the only other one is my dad which I found out by going on his computer and looking at his history. After that he changed his password/computer. So I don't know what he currently looks at, but I imagine he still looks at pr0n. As from my sister and brother it is unlikely. Maybe my brother does, but even then that is unlikely since he doesn't really know common pr0n words like creampie.

There was a corrupted image on DeviantArt and I got hit with a clickjacker.

Devious little -blam!-. Took hours to remove.

Please do not send me group invites.

I have no idea. I haven't gotten a virus in years. Hell, I don't even have an antivirus on my gaming computer, server, or my HTPCs.

second i do not find it physically possible for a PERSON to be a ice cream truck.

I never have on either my desktop or laptop. My family however, they have gotten their comptuers screwed up with bad viruses several times already. My mother has had to restore their computer to factory defaults twice now and my grandma had to about three times. The reason, they have no idea what they are doing. It sucks actually seeing as how I try to help them out. I set up Firefox with AdBlock, Web of Trust and some other stuff for security, tell them how to use it and everything. A couple of days later "Why are you guys still using IE? Why haven't you guys ran virus scan? 80 adware, are you guys kidding me?"

if you don't google things how do you find information and such

Being overly paranoid is no good either, it's the ads on the sides of pages and such that you need to be cautious of.

And I don't remember last time I had a virus...

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

It's been a while. I block sites from doing things to my computer and I doublecheck files before downloading and installing them.

If I haven't fired you yet, it's because I'm still firing your mom in bed.

I genuinely can't remember. Don't use AV either. It's useless to me because even if you pay like $70 a year for the really high end stuff, it usually doesn't prevent infections and 99% of infections can be removed manually with little effort.

Basically just be familiar with the processes usually running in task manager, don't click on ads, disable popups, and keep java up to date. Java is like a giant "-blam!- me with your AIDs" sign on the back of your computer.
