Screw dialup.

I remember I had to leave the internet running while I was at school for eight hours to download a 5mb pr0n clip. Back then, these free websites used to post part of a full scene each day, broken up into like 25 parts.

When I completed a scene and merged them, I felt such great joy and accomplishment.

2001 here--my parents were completely oblivious to the information revolution, but a little convincing from the family and my dad bought a Gateway computer for my mother for Christmas. It came in about 4 massive boxes and took about 3 people to set up.

We actually had dial-up through 2009. I remember only getting an hour or so per day because I would tie up the phone lines. And when you picked up the phone or were logging onto the computer, you heard the awesome dial-up sound. Kids these days do not know struggle.

It was in 1996 or 97 if I remember correctly. I still use my email account from back then.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I think we've had it since...maybe 2003 or so when we first got our desk computer, but the memory is terribly fuzzy.

I think 2000.

When I first used the internet it was AOL dial up. I don't remember the year. Then I figured out how to get on my dads account and make my own master account so I could do anything I wanted..

Brainwashing, idiotic media: "hur dur, vido gaems cas vilenc n iz nt gud. dey ned 2 b baned."

Logic: Really? Then please explain how there's violence in third world countries. I guess they're all poor due to the large amount of video games they buy.

Damn, you had it rough.

I remember having a computer but never used it because I was busy playing with Yu-Gi-Oh and Dreamcast. About 4 years ago is when I started having interest with the computer/internet.

Very late 2008.

Probably 96 or 97.

I don't remember the exact year, but it was definitely dial up.

and it was so awesome!

I remember when the internet was like the wild west.....

Free digital everything.....

so good.

edit:
A friend and I were just talking the other day about how young kids won't ever know the sounds of the dial up screeching. And how it took forever for a webpage to load. Also, playing games with friends via IP address... the definition of laggy is a lot more relaxed now.

From the moment Bob's birth-cord was cut, every girl's hymen has belonged to him.

There must have been a dildo in that Wii control they found
For when they shoved it up his ass, he began to walk around, aaand
Chad Warden the fanboy, was as ABAP as can be
But the -blam!-es say, that he was mad -blam!-, and talked -blam!- on PS3

Key

95ish. They had it when I was born but I wouldn't think they got it too long before that.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I think 1993 was when we first got dial-up. Those were the days.
