Brainwashing, idiotic media: "hur dur, vido gaems cas vilenc n iz nt gud. dey ned 2 b baned."

Logic: Really? Then please explain how there's violence in third world countries. I guess they're all poor due to the large amount of video games they buy.

Nope, America has Benin this situation before.

The real motive behind this troop deployment is to find Kony.

You know what's even worse?

When the boy you like has a girlfriend.

So it's mostly to train the African soldiers in counter-insurgency operations, if I'm reading that correctly.

Well, I suppose it's a good idea.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Honestly I would prefer to just see more Marines at our embassies. Say in a country in Northern Africa.

You know, in case some other "nut jub makes a youtube movie".

Oh wait, that isn't how/why our Ambassador to Libya was murdered (along with 3 other Americans). It was because his requests for more security staff were ignored.

Good, we really do need to intervene more, we also need to increase foreign aid.

Good, we have a large amount of security interests in Africa. I'm glad that we are deploying a force to help train and advise these nations in operations relating to enhancing their stability.

Also, lol@garrisonstateforeignpolicy

We should keep a presence in the world.

We, the United States, need to mind our own business and let other countries handle their own affairs.

Ughh. It is terrible over there but given our economic situation, I say, Non-interventionist policy plz.

Fixed

Whatever. You get my point.

Isolationist means you cut off all ties with everyone outside of your country, non-intervention means you don't go fighting others battles but can still do trade and travel.
Also all this does is dwindle down our forces by deluding them across the globe making weaker at home, and wastes our resources to help countries that are undeveloped and unwilling to learn.
diluting?

That's a pretty big trivialization of the situation. In order to increase security there, they would've had to decrease security elsewhere. Those who had to make the decision did.

Are you saying that there are only so many Marines to go around? If there are 35 units of training/consultant troops who can deploy to various countries all at once, then that would have been a solid boost for 35 embassies that are asking for more security because they don't feel safe. Or do we have more than 35 embassies who are asking for more security because they see a danger on the ground where they are?

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

Good.

Africa needs some real outside help to sort out the damn civil wars and Extremists, and to be honest America kind of owes Africa a bit of help.

Food Aid/Money is pointless since most of it gets sent to warlords and their corrupt friends.

Because our embassy in Paris is in dire need of more security.

Although the U.S. is there because of Terrorist networks, if we don't do it, who will? No other country gives a damn about Africa either. I hate it when people say this cause it's like they want the bad guys to win.
