Man of God. Fan of Bungie. Eater of many Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers.

Cultural influence. An inner balance of my soul is a side effect of that side effect. I'm more a man than ever, really.

For me, I'd have to say the best thing about joining BNet has been the people I've met - not only my boyfriend, but a bunch of people who've become good friends, some of whom I've even been lucky enough to meet IRL.

For you, what's been the best part of joining BNet?
You met your boyfriend here? Congratulations!

My answer would have to be the same. My friends list keeps filling up and it is almost all from one private group. Found some people I really want to meet face to face and I want to keep in touch with the rest of my life.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I think it would be related to the community interaction.
You make friends, you meet friends, some people have even gotten jobs from their interaction on this site.

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle- victorious"

I've had the pleasure of meeting some great users and I've obtained useful knowledge from a handful of intelligent people. You know who you are...

:)

Don't do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to paramedics. Trust me, I'm a pilot.

I'd have to say it's the community. I've made a lot of friends here on this site, both on the forums and in private groups. Of all of the forums I've used, bnet has, by far, the most active and awesome community.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

The overwhelming sense of achievement you get from spending a percentage of your fairly short life typing words into a white box and hitting 'reply' to topics that you are unlikely to ever read again.

I also learned its better to peel a banana from the bottom than from the top too, which is pretty cool.

I joined the site to see my Halo 3 stats so I suppose everything that happens on the forums can be considered as "side-effects". Just overall good times, hoping for more good times to come, I haven't really been active here before this year.

Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

Yup! Ironically, I joined the site because my ex (well, my boyfriend at the time, obviously) was a huge Halo fanboy. Then Harlow invited me to this little private group called Sapphire that he was trying to grow. The rest is history, I guess.

Real account.

Join me as we make new friends from different communities!

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.
