Are we not entitled to what we pay for?

You pay for on-disc DLC, so why would you defend having to pay for it again?

You also pay for the labor put into day-1 DLC, so you are entitled to that aswell.

If you were planning on purchasing the new game, then you should have pre-ordered it so you could get the advertised DLC that comes with ---->PRE-OREDERING<----

You mean the same DLC that I'm paying for anyway?

The same DLC that ISNT FREE even when you preorder games?

That DLC?

Some games have DLC in America in europe, that came with the game in Japan.

Face it, You're being nickel-and-dimed and you're too stupid to realize it.

Alternatively, You are actually Colin Moriarity in disguise, and you are going to tell me that you "Don't care if 99% of a games content is day-1 on-disc DLC"

Sorry guy, I've been playing videogames my whole life. This is a new trend meant to cash in on the sudden influx of casuals that discovered videogames back in 2006.

You pay for on-disc DLC, so why would you defend having to pay for it again?
Well, on the topic of on-disc DLC, that's a simple matter of optimization. Why would you force customers to wait 5 minutes to download your day one DLC and store it on their hard drives when you could just store it on the game disc?

There's plenty of content on discs anyways that you can't normally access, for example, in Halo 4 there is code for two armor abillities that didn't make it into the final game, that while unfinished, are perfectly functional. Does it bother you that you can't access that sort of content without modding? So why is on disc DLC any different?

And as for day one DLC, that's just pure buisness sense. The majority of gamers only play a game for a month before moving on to something new, waiting six months before you start releasing DLC ensures that the majority of your customers will have moved on, unless your game is the sort of game that keeps people around for that period of time (see Skyrim / Halo). If there are people willing to pay for that content while the game is still relevant to them, then what's the problem with making that content availible to them for a price?

Afterall, if the company wants to sell you a particular piece of content, does it matter if they finish it five days before the game comes out or five months after the game comes out? You'll have to pay for it either way, and they can make a larger profit if they sell it earlier rather than later.

Makes perfect buisness sense.
