Subject: Have you ever been in a fight?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Well?

Be honest. Have you ever fought with someone? I don't mean argued, but tried your best to hurt someone else? It doesn't mater if you won or lost, just that you struck another in anger.

If you feel so inclined, do tell your story below.

Don't LOL if you aren't L'inOL.

Halo: Reach
Halo 3
Halo ODST

Nope. Fights are silly.

Nah, the "fights" that i've been in were more like wrestling a bit, pushing each other,a few kicks...but never those violent fights where real punches were thrown.

Though i should be prepared for these encounters.

I wouldn't consider it a fight, but I punched a kid in the face.

He thought slapping me on the head was funny, then he faced the consequences.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Over the years, a handful or so. Some where I got my ass handed to me. Some where I finished it and walked away. A couple where I knew that they intended and were capable of putting in the hospital or the morgue and so I ran. Looking back on most of them, I should have seen them coming and avoided.

As I got older and smarter, that outcome happened more often. Noticing the warning signs, seeing where things were likely to head, and taking a path of defusing, de-escalating and moving along.

When I started CCW, I've withdrawn from every conflict that I could possibly foresee. There were two where I did not predict/foresee the danger, the weapon allowed both me and my adversary/attacker to walk away alive and uninjured.

Take me into your heart! Accept me as your savior! Nail me to the -blam!- cross, and let me be reborn!

Haha once (if you could even count this as a fight). We're friends now, but about 7 years ago, my friend and I were near this ravine. I can't remember why the argument got heated, or hell, what we were even arguing about. Eventually we locked our hands to each other ahoulders, and it was pretty much who can push who down the very steep hill. I pushed him down, and walked away with two other friends.

Welcome to the town of "Diligence." I'm Mayor Due.

Only a couple. One with my older brother. He was so drunk I actually put him over my knee in a back breaker. He came at with me a knife, so really I had no choice.

One over Halo2 with a buddy in school. He unplugged me after a 14 or 15 hour session and I lost it. Pretty much rolled around the ground for a minute like little girls.

And after I became a dad, some guy asked me out of the blue to fight at about 10 am as I walked home with diapers. I actually pulled the diapers out of the bag and he walked off... Still not sure where that came from.

Yeah, it was a loooong time ago, back in my Junior High days, I don't even remember what the fight was about. Back then consequences weren't as severe as they are today.

  • 12.26.2012 6:24 PM PDT

Nope.

It used to be that when men fought, they would fight it out, doing the best they could to not involve anybody else, and be best friends after.

Now, if two people even only fistfight, cops are called and arrests are made, builings are closed. It's sad, really.

Pretty much. I've only gotten in one fight as an adult, and it was a case of defending someone else other than myself. I let my nitpick of guys hitting women get the better of me and ended up breaking a guys arm in the process.

Personally, I really do not like violence because if things ever get to that point there is too much that can go wrong. Knowing how to hurt people, how to really hurt people, makes me very aprehensive if entering a situation where that may become a necessity.

  • 12.26.2012 6:28 PM PDT

I've hit someone before, but never been in a full blown fight

  • 12.26.2012 6:30 PM PDT

Last fistfight I was in was when I was a sophomore in high school I think.

  • 12.26.2012 6:33 PM PDT

Ive been pressured into fighting. No need to though. Im not big at all and I have no reason to fight anyone.

A guy poured a drink down a new shirt when I went to a club because I was talking to a friends girlfriend who is good looking and he wanted to talk with her.

Does Sparing class count? If so then yes, i kicked just about every bodies asses. Also, one time as school, this kid from my lunch break kept pegging me with a ball. I asked him to stop nicely but he wouldn't listen, so i just got up, and socked him in the face. I didn't give it my all, but from the way he was screaming at me, i could tell i hit him pretty hard. After that, he didn't peg anybody with a ball for the rest of the school year.

Yea as a teenager I had been in about 10 the first I got beat for a good twenty minutes kept standing up. I didn't know how to fight at the time. From there I practiced with friends and normally wouldn't unless someone called out me my family or friends but the next 9 I won and no one bothered to fight me after that. Then I grew up and have only had one close encounter at a rodeo. Where my buddies step brother 24 and twice my size poured a beer on my gf and car. Needless to say I threw him against his truck and Nate had to break it up.

I wouldn't call them fights, but me punching so-called "bullies" once or twice and it being over right then and there.

This happened twice in Middle School, and once in High School.

I hate MLP. It is cancerous and pretty stupid to see men watching a show for girls. They can deny the truth but the truth shall prevail!

I fought my sister a few years ago. She is older than me and if I wanted to, I could've beat her easily.

From the moment Bob's birth-cord was cut, every girl's hymen has belonged to him.

There must have been a dildo in that Wii control they found
For when they shoved it up his ass, he began to walk around, aaand
Chad Warden the fanboy, was as ABAP as can be
But the -blam!-es say, that he was mad -blam!-, and talked -blam!- on PS3

nah

One of my friends is always like "yo u shud fite _____". I hang around those people a lot.

I have champagne intelligence and beer friends

Shoot me a pm if you want to talk about anything!

I haven't been in any real fights but I've been punched pretty hard a few times. Other men might have fought back in my position, but that's not really my style.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

Signatures are for little kids.

I used to fight in kickboxing tournaments quite a lot.

Haven't been in a real fight since grade 4.

Nahman Jayden, Eff bee eye. I herd that you're the origammy killah...

Not actual ones, but me and my older cousin would really beat eachother up (like bruises and stuff) when we were younger. Was all for fun, though.
