Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

As we said already, magazine limits will only slow down a shooter by about a second.
When millions of standard capacity magazines are already in circulation, there isn't much we can do about it, even if it had any effect. How many guns are still around from the 1800s? Early 20th Century? 20s? Clearly this is not about "enact this law and starting tomorrow no more school shootings I promise".There's quite a few guns still in circulation from the early 20th century. The Mosin Nagant 91/30 was produced from 1930-1945 and there's millions of them in the USA alone.
To add to that, once guns are illegal, people will be less likely to replace the old ones with a new model, so they will stay in circulation for even longer.
Look at Australia, when guns became harder to own, only about %30 were turned in like they were supposed to be.And that has worked out so badly for us, hasn't it?Your violent crime went up 47%, so yes I would say it went quite badly. There hasn't been a massacre since the laws were introduced in if1996, shootings are down, and the current crime wave has nothing to do with guns being banned and more to do with the global economic crisis.
Guns in Australia were never considered tools for self-defense, nor were they actively used as such, so your argument in saying that crime has gone up BECAUSE guns have been heavily restricted is a false one.
