13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Well, mine has been made obvious enough, astronomy/cosmology. The reasons behind these interests come largely from the incredible distances, volumes, and masses accompanying astronomical structures, and they're absolutely beautiful.

There's never been a point in my life that I wasn't interested in astronomy, or the cosmos in general. Some of my earliest memories consist of reading kindergarden-level books about stars, planets, and galaxies, and watching television documentaries on the subject.

So which scientific field captures your interest the most, and why does it? Do you have plans to make a career out of the interest, when did it start?

It isn't our shiznit anymore.

Kind of like yours, except I like the spacecraft more than the planets and suns. So... Astronautics.

How come no matter how big a field is when crossing it you will step in the one piece of dog poo?

Astrology.

You sure you phrased that correctly?

"Astrology" is interpreting astronomical events to predict the future, and things like that.

Biology (Specifically Marine Biology) and Paleontology. Since I was two, I've always been fascinated by one variety of organism: sharks. I always enjoyed reading about geologic history, especially the development of modern sharks, always been fascinated by how perfectly designed they are.

Technology. I have a deep love of Cyberpunk fiction and fandom, if that counts. And yes, I work with digital forensics and security, which I started after a couple of other career paths became unattainable.

Biology fascinates me too. Biomechanics and stuff. It amazes me how complex the subject is. Especially sex-ual biology, however pervy that might sound, it's honestly a genuine interest of mine.

A Virgo would say that.

I went through the Dinosaur phase as a kid, but the interest is still present in regards to paleontology. It's incredible to acknowledge the creatures that preexisted all the ones we've become so accustom to today.

On the topic of sharks, Megalodons, man...

OP, I have also always been fascinated with astronomy. The reason why?

I always have wondered about what could be out there. We can't be the only life in the universe. There are countless galaxies in the universe and earth can't be the only planet in the massive universe to be in the right position for life. They might have evolved in a completely different way, they may not even look like living creatures to us. It fascinates me to think about the possibilities of life elsewhere in the universe.

I never showed care for math prior to my realization it was both extremely relevant to my interests, and necessary for me to pursue them as a career. Since then, I've been much more attentive in my math classes, and my grades have improved exponentially.
