What I am saying here is that there is very little point in learning programming unless you are going into a career which requires it. There's just not too much you need it for, because others have already done it with thousands of free tools online.There's no point in studying anything then. How did you get that? If you learn maths there's a lot of everyday uses for it, quick mental arithmatic is great to have. If you learn English you can write a book / be more persuasive in your writing.
If you learn programming, whenever you have a problem there's a free tool online that you can instantly download, which lets you solve the problem without having to write and debug your own version.
