Subject: Fallout 3 survival

It's seriously not that hard to survive. Megaton has a couple good starting quests that can help set you up, after that, the world is your irradiated oyster. Once you've leveled up a few times, you start sitting on piles of caps and ammo.

The only tip I'd really give is to repair all the weapons and armor that you pick up instead of carrying duplicates. I seriously didn't know you could repair from inventory until my second playthrough

Conserve Ammo, Use VATS, get yourself a Hunting Rifle and have fun :D

Please ammo is like dirt in that game. The only type you need to conserve would be the nukes, but even then those are fairly common and are overkill for most enemies.

Save your ammo when you are at lower levels, then you get enough to sink the Bismark
lol'd

Lel ur bad kid.

Also, to add on to him. When selling weapons, do NOT repair them unless you're overencumbered or they're worth ~20 caps and in crap condition. Usually, 2 moderate condition weapons will yield more caps than 1 great condition weapon.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

The game is pitifully easy. You don't need tips.

Well, when you're playing on Very Easy....

What, you actually think Fallout 3 is hard?

If we're counting the max difficulty then, yes. All dem Super Mutant Overlords and Albino Radscorpions mang.

I increase difficulty by levels. Very Easy <10, Easy <20, Normal<25, Hard<30, Very Hard >30. Even Overlords aren't that big of a deal to a Lvl. 30 player on Very Hard. I'd recommend doing Op. Anchorage to get the stealth suit. A stealth build means you can get sneak critical kills very easily and you won't have to worry about repairing your suit.

What a waste....

It's honestly not that hard. Just don't go charging into encounters and save often.

And carry around only what you need, i.e. a Minigun, a Tri-Beam Laser Rifle, and maybe the silenced Assault Rifle. Bring a Fat Man if you want. This way, you can get tons of loot. If you have it on PC, get the inventory expansion mods.
