Mass Effect 3, and the ending was amazing.

This is now my main account. My former account was xKingGhidorahx. I've been on this site since 2009.

Mass Effect 2, followed by Mass Effect 1 then Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect 2, but if Mass Effect 1 was only the Virmire mission through the ending mission, I would have made babies with it already.

ME1 was a brilliant and unique sci-fi adventure with some annoying parts.

ME2 improved on that: fleshed out the characters, choices, moral and fight system. It made ME the cinematic experience it is supposed to be.

ME3 was a letdown again. Fights are fun as hell and the overall tech is superb, but it lacked in what made Mass Effect Mass Effect and that is a great story. It was only okay.

ME2 is the best imo.

Legendary Pictures took on the task, but there is not much info revealed. They first said that the story is supposed to revolve around ME1, but then they announced a new script-writer or something.

Really hard to say.

Mass Effect was our introduction to the series, and as such, is almost held on regard by me as magical. I still remember beating it for the very first time. Was magical.

Mass Effect 2 was a great sequel, and I love reminiscing on the days of exploring the dirty, dark corners of the Mass Effect verse.

Mass Effect 3 was the big question I asked when I finished the first Mass Effect, "How could this possibly end? How could you stop something like the Reapers?" And for the most part, Bioware did a fantastic job, save for a few bumps on the end of the road.

Overall, I'd go with the first one. Like I said, the game was friggen magical to me. Sitting in my living room at 4 in the morning listening to the music and watching the credits roll, it felt like I had just sat through a really good movie.

you know i don't think a mass effect film would go down well if they include shepard because of how everyone plays him differently, unless they plan to make three versions

1.Paragon Route

2.Renegade Route

3.Neutral Route

but i highly doubt that would happen

Speaking of that, what would you guys recommend for my first (and probably only) play through? As in in PAragon, Renegade or a mixture? I want to get the most out of the games.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

I like them all for different reasons, so I can't decide.

Just make the desicions that you'd make in real life for you first playthrough. don't go strictly Paragon, renagade or neutral.

Mass Effect 1 is the best of the series.

It's gameplay made it a chore to play through, but it had the best story and atmosphere of the series. It had characters that were likable and an antagonist that was actually menacing.

Mass Effect 2's almost nonexistent main plot didn't do anything for the main plot of the series, it had characters that were a little one dimensional, abd its antagonist wasn't nearly as good as its predecessor. I liked the fleshing out of Cerberus and the Illusive Man, and how they're actually morally ambiguous.

Autodialogue Effect 3 was a disappointment.

Pick role-playing and it'll play like the previous games.

But I dare say the dialogue options for ME3 is limited compared to the previous games.

ME2 > ME3 > ME1

I loved them all, really. My only gripe was that ME1 was a bit boring at times and with ME3... well, you know.

It doesn't play like the previous games. Most of the dialogue in the game is autodialogue, a lot of it character defining. The times you do get to choose dialogue:

-There is no neutral option.
-The two options you do get are extremely similar with maybe a minor difference in tone.
