In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

nobody notices it.
You sure about that?

I mean is it that big of a deal:

spartan, I know how to spell it, I wasn't paying attention when I made my GT. I have only had 3 people on xbox live mention my name was misspelled.

I want her...

Heck no!

  • 12.27.2012 11:15 AM PDT

No way. I hope a lot of people who I recognize don't change their names.

In business they say that for every person that speaks up about something they represent a much larger number of people. The point being most people don't speak up. I notice you spelled your name wrong a lot, over and over again. I've never mentioned it though. I just think it's silly to myself. No offense, but... yeah.

You should notice it a lot considering I post here with this account.

But it does make me look retarded the way it is now. IDK what I would change it to though and I would want to change my xbox GT.

OT: I voted no but I'm not so sure now. Both my B.net username and GT aren't unique on the internet, and I like the idea of having a unique internet moniker. I just don't know what it'd be =/
I don't know, your name might not be unique, but it's certainly recognizable.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I'm getting rid of this one. It was a mistake that needs fixing.

I feel like the names are tattoos.

I wonder if Bungie integrated Facebook/Twitter and had an option to use our real names and how that would turn out. (like what youtube is doing)

I hope it's nothing like the YouTube system. Integrated Facebook/Twitter would cool, not that I would ever use this site with my Facebook account though.

I dislike Facebook and Twitter very much.

I think how invasive these social media have become in virtually everything in the internet is getting annoying.

ooga booga boooh

I wonder how many people are going to get their user names hijacked from them with Bnext.

I think there should be a feature where you can save previous names so other people can't take them.

Also if a name is too close to another user, maybe the user will be forced to change his or her name to prevent confusing/trolling.

Would be pretty difficult to make that work, someone names their account "Spartan 117" and boom, that's thousands of potential accounts gone.

I would guess that some of the more known members think the exact opposite, they don't want to change their name because they are known. I'm not sure though.
