Don't do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to paramedics. Trust me, I'm a pilot.

Nope, I'm going to keep my username.

How could my fans reconize me if I changed my username?

I wonder how many people are going to get their user names hijacked from them with Bnext.

I think there should be a feature where you can save previous names so other people can't take them.

Also if a name is too close to another user, maybe the user will be forced to change his or her name to prevent confusing/trolling.
Would be pretty difficult to make that work, someone names their account "Spartan 117" and boom, that's thousands of potential accounts gone.
I think a better idea would be the reservation of past usernames.

Simply put, any username that was previously created in the history of BNet will forever be saved and would have the option to be recreated from the user who previously obtained it. Does that sound more reasonable?

Hell no.

Get at me

Yep. I shall become Mercury. Assuming they kill absent members. I hope they do. Or M e r c u r y. That's available.

A lawyer's salary can buy a hell of a lot of Asian prostitutes, and that's pretty much all I care about.

Poorly, and with a screen-door style security system?

Could someone link me to what this "bungie.next" business is about? I've clearly been gone for too long...

OT: If anything, I'll simplify it to Momentum if possible.

Yes. I hate my current name, I use a different one for everything else, and nobody knows me by name around here anyway.

No way bro. I like my name.

  • 12.27.2012 11:08 PM PDT

Nope, I would never change my username. At most I might consider changing it to match my Gamertag, but I highly doubt that I would actually go through with it. This name has grown on me in my time here.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

No way. My username will always be the same.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

the big problem with changing your name is how will people know who you are?

Very true! Which is why I won't change mine, besides liking it as well.

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

Yes, as long as it's a standalone feature and not part of Bungie Pro.
