Here you are everybody, my first PC build. All supplies were bought at my local Micro Center, at FAR better prices than I found online, for around $600.

Antec Three Hundred Two Mid Tower Case with two fans
Intel i5 3570k @3.4 gHz
8 Gigs of Crucial Ballistix Ram @ 1600 mHz
msi z77 Motherboard with built in wi-fi, bluetooth, and sound
Crucial 600 watt power supply with 80% efficiency
LG disk burner
2 TB Seagate 7200 RPM Hard Drive

For now, we are using the intel integrated 4000 graphics. What I need is an nVidia/AMD graphics card for $100/$200, in the 6xx or 7xxx series, respectively. I want the best value possible, no more than $200. Let's get searching!
Oh yes, just to be sure, it needs an HDMI connection. I know that most cards will come with one or two, but the reason I didn't get one at Micro center is because a lot of their cards only included a mini HDMI and a single Displayport.

The GTX 660 is slightly faster but the 7850 comes with a free, awesome game.

From the ashes

7850 is good, only thing about your setup I'd change is your tower. I'd have gotten a full-tower for better airflow and more room for expansion. However, you'll be fine with the 7850 for the time being I'm sure.

This works also OP nice job overpaying by like $60-100 at your local store at least based on the broad specs you gave.

AMD card comes with Far Cry 3. Sweet deal.

I'd go with that.

I also like having something that fits under my desk. Plus, most of the full towers they sold included crappy power supplies for some reason.
Since this case came with two fans, and room for three more, I think I'll stick with it.

I got 8 gigs of RAM for $30, because they were on sale from $50. The mobo normally costs around $250, but I snagged the last one in stock on a christmas sale for $180.
I wouldn't have bought the case online no matter what. I like to see what I get with that in real life, not on a screen.

I'm not talking about fan expansion, but hardware. However, I'm sure this will suit your needs just fine.

Mid-towers are fine. I'm running off a Corsair Carbide 400R and everything fits nicely.

Yeah the mobo is what I figured could make the deal worth it, but still that much for a mobo at that level of a build seems a bit of a waste of money imo. As for the RAM it depends on the brand.

Maybe, but the mid-line one the salesman recommended was $15 more expensive.

Also, I'm surprised nobody has said "Herp derp you need a hard drive genius" or something. I got a 2TB 7200RPM for $100.

Now that's one hell of deal. Where did you get that hard drive?

I would go with the GTX 660 just because it is slightly better, but it's your money.

My local Micro Center. Here is the exact same drive on newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168221489 10

Well I would assume you might use the one you currently have. As for the mobo I still think it is overkill for the price range you are in. Though without knowing the specifics I can't say you got a good or bad deal on it. Also as for your edit 2TB 7200rpm HDDs are usually around $100.

Or you could have bought the WD one for the same price on newegg.

It has an 1155 processor socket, built-in bluetooth and wi-fi, THX surround sound, and plenty of other bells and whistles.

This one? Between being refurbished, and paying for shipping, getting the new seagate at micro center is undoubtedly a better deal.

Nah the $110 on that is on sale currently. Though the Seagate one is fine typically WD is better.

I would have gone with two 1TB hard disks instead of one 2TB. You get all the space of the single 2TB and you also get the performance increase of raid 0. Anyway I'd go for the Radeon 7870 or GTX 660 TI for your gpu.
