Who the hell do you think I am?

Lol.
Because a mechanical keyboard paired with an old Prescott CPU for $25 makes sense, apparently... You could put one of those under a microscope.

Yes. I know that theres a ton more as I have seen them, but the first one I can think of is the BlackWidow Ultimate.

Mechanical keyboards were the first keyboards, they switched to membrane/dome cause it was a lot cheaper. It's only now they're making a comeback for people who want them

I know that, I meant the newegg combo where they were selling the Rosewill one with some 478 socket CPU for $25. Maybe they just needed to get them off their hands or something.

Beats me.
All I know is that I kinda want to build that type of desk as soon as I get a source of income that doesn't involve me actually doing any work.
All I know is that I want more lights like him...

From what I can tell, there is a mobo under the glass and then there is a liquid cooling system attached to it because I can see a couple of containment pods (the cylinders). Basically looks like the components were put into the desk below the glass versus being put into a tower. All the green lights hurt my eyes and I laughed at the razr background on his phone in the middle.
While the background and phone were rather silly, the desk itself, in my opinion, is pretty awesome.

I've heard razer has terrible quality control but if you get lucky, they do have some nice products. But with the price they charge, I would never take a chance and hope to get lucky. I am curious though if that desk was custom built or comes in a kit or something. I'd love to do something similar without all the razer stuff and maybe blue leds etc...

It was a broken bundle where they gave you $40 off any keyboard paired with that CPU. That just happened to be the cheapest decent mechanical keyboard.

Ducky Shine
Cooler Master Quickfire Pro
Cooler Master Storm Trigger
Razer Blackwidow Series
Rosewill Illuminated Series
KBTalking Pure 60% / Race 75%
Tesoro Durandal G1NL
Corsair K90
Logitech G710+
Gigabyte Aivia Osmium

There are a lot more, but these are the first few to come to mind.

Sound like typical Razer shenanigans. Have your Onza's left and right stick's rubber pads worn off? And have your buttons started malfunctioning. If non of those have happened you must have really good one or not use it often.
Nope, everything still works perfectly and I don't even have any dead zones like on my two Xbox controllers. I use it exclusively on my Xbox aside from when I play Dark Souls, Super Meat Boy, and Beat Hazard on PC.

Staples has the Kingston SDDNOW 200 120GB on sale for 70$. Is is a decent SDD?

If you're going SSD, get Intel or Crucial for reliability, Samsung for a balance of speed and reliability, and OCZ Agility (NOT Vertex) for pure speed. Those are the only brands you should consider unless you can get a 128GB for under $60.

Alright, thanks for the advice.

I'm in no rush to get an SDD. I just had the impression it was a good price.

It's old.

Haven't bothered cleaning it. Plus, it runs cooler with the side panel off.

Interesting. I'm scared to take off my old computers side panels... I'm scared I might find a spider nest or something.

Fluffy, here's some infographics I have. Some of them are more useful than others for this thread, but you might want to add some to the OP.

Ah, the internet. Where men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI.

Im planning on robbing a bank sometime over the next 5-10 months, so I can fund building a custom water cooling loop. Ive been watched a couple videos on youtube over it/done minimal research, and it doesn't seem too difficult, just pricey.

Question I have is anyone here have any experience with custom water loops? If my suspicions of it not being too difficult are true? So on and so forth.

I dont really have too much of a need to build it, but I'm horribly irresponsible with money.

I don't have any personal experience but if it leaks, at all, you're -blam!-.

That's why you do leak tests before you're finished.

I see XSPC kits pretty often, and other communities like OCN and /r/gamingpc have lots of people who know what they're doing there.
