Yay, it is a good place to start a software development career.

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

You will -blam!- bricks when you see what game it is! =)

Well I am a tester. So yay?

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

It's a start in getting into the industry.

I've heard that it isn't that good. I've also heard the opposite. I just wanted to get the Flood's opinion on this.

I heard it just sucks the fun out of games, jumping at walls for 10hrs to make sure they don't let you through.

Although 343i did a terrible job, you can drop through every wall.

Yes, I'm a furry. And yes, I like men. So what?

Are you talking about game QA, or just QA in general?

  • 12.27.2012 11:50 AM PDT

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

Depends what you do. Game Testing QA? Can be fun depending on the game you play and the Test Leads. Or It can be boring as pooping.

Hardware? Drivers? Non Game software?

Depends. I enjoy it.

Does anyone else know anything about this field?

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”
