I have no idea. A little bit above average, hopefully. Good jobs are hard to find these days.

Good employees are hard to find these days too. Employers have to sift through thirty retards to find one decent one.

Ten years from now, I'll cross my fingers for $600k/year. Not too big of an increase once you consider inflation. Realistically, that'll be near the end of my career anyway because I want to retire in my early 40s.

In one place?

No.

Possibly in a few months depending on what bonus I get cut. End of the year reviews are going down now and should find out salary increases and bonus composition by late January.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

Right now I'm completely independent at 12k a year.
In the next four years I expect to be making 20k.
In the next ten years, 35-40k.
In the next twenty years, 75k.
In the next thirty years, 100k.

Ten years from now, Director at any major investment bank is the goal. "Director" sounds higher than it seems off-hand - there are well over a thousand with that title or higher where I work.

It happens to us all.

Entry should be around 50k, and that will max out at about 120k after ~20 years.

96. Most of my compensation takes the form of a year-end bonus like it is for most mid to upper level bank employees. Kinda sucks in some respects - you can work all year and get fired in December and get nothing.

Your goal is to not get laid off. I have two working days to go for this year.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone
The choosing of guns or fighting with swords
The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

Average salary after 10 years in my industry when you haven't been promoted to a higher(aka. lead and higher up) position? 120746 USD per year.

I'm probably one of the few that will be serious about this..

I have thought about it a lot and I guess I expect a modest 90,000. That should get me through the week.

150k+

Medical Science and Research...we'll see

  • 12.27.2012 12:56 PM PDT

I should be making at least 60k a year right out of undergrad, based upon other students graduating from my college with my major. No idea where I'll be after that, though.

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

25$ an hour will be more than enough for me at them moment. I live with that and still pay my loan of 500, food, gas, phone internet, and when I get a place of 1200 a month. More than enough. Even enough to maybe get a new car.

But in the future, 60k+ will be more than enough for me. Even with a home. I dont live an expensive life style. As long as I stay with no babies :P

Probably 20k.

I could be average if I wasn't such a waste and committed myself to something instead of being a lazy ass piece of poop.

I don't expect anything. I want a six figure, at least, however.
I am expecting at least five kids. You see, I have a younger brother who will NEVER get a girlfriend. That's one or two grandkids that my parents will never get. Then, my sister wants to marry rich, have no kids, and die young. There's another two grandkids my parents won't get. In order to ensure their posterity, I must father at least six children when married. Maybe I'll have a seventh to increase the total net population.

70k graduating.

85k 10 years later.

25 years experience construction engineers make 125k so maybe I'll be 90k or 100k by 10 year mark.

  • 12.27.2012 1:18 PM PDT

Currently I'm at 48k, the top out in my field varies from 75k to 100k. Depending on a few things.

At first it would seem like sucky wage growth, but I hear that is common with engineers - experience doesn't really bring to much wage growth, at least not as much as other majors.

I'd hope for more though. That is only a bit more than 2% growth year over year, not counting inflation. I'd bet 85k ten years from now probably will be worth less than 70k is right now.
