what do you think of this situation that's currently happening at major gun stores across the nation due to guns commonly used for hunting, competition, and home defensepossibly being banned in 2013.

a little truth for ya

due to fear, people are buying anything likely to be banned going so far to buy $100 magazines that usually cost $15 and easily paying 200-400% mark up on guns/accessories/ammo.

rumors say that as much as 5 years worth of guns and ammo has been sold in a two week period, resulting in shortages.

and that manufacturers are either maxed out at production capacity for 2013 or waiting to see what the political future holds for them so distributors cannot be restocked.

what do you think of this?

I think it is great!

Except I haven't joined in and I don't want to face a shortage.

I don't know what to make of it really.

Smith and Wesson versus S&P500.

Stock is still tanked even with all the talk of massively increasing sales. You can see how the stock got wrecked once the shooting came out and the talk of gun bans became active again, even though it was having a massive year.

And so here at the end of my life, I do once again betray a former master. The path ahead is fraught with peril. But I will do all I can to keep it stable - keep you safe. I'm not so foolish to think this will absolve me of my sins. One life hardly balances billions.

Not good. My dad and I have been looking to get an ar-15, but they are all gone. Pretty soon all guns will be illegal.

Many Americans (like myself) agree. We want to be like the the UK, Canada, and Japan. But stubborn people won't let us change anything.

This level of naïveté is almost tragic.

I think it is telling of the sickness of American culture in that gun enthusiasts are considered more valuable that hippies (peace enthusiasts)

Gun enthusiasts understand human nature to a greater degree. There can never be peace, and we all know it. Sorry.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I remember the rush in 1994. By then I already had my full-cap mags for my Glock(s).

Well these "stubborn people" actually think and know what's best for the United States.

This is the best gun control. Hell, I can't even find ammunition anywhere.

First I've heard of it. I can understand why people are flipping out and grabbing as much as they can while they can, but I wouldn't be worried, I don't see the bill passing. I just wish people would quit trying to ban guns.

question: what would you do if all your guns had to be registered as NFA(title II)?

that's what the new federal AWB proposal entails.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.
