As for Battlefront II, I thought that Heros were overpowered and warped the gameplay of the game around themselves. Instead of having infantry pushes like in the original game, the dominant strategy was to rush your hero as fast as possible, then procede to solo the entire enemy army. Eventually the other side would get their hero, you'd fight, and the winner of that fight would go on to decide the game.
Jedi are far too binary, their mobillity and their offensive and defensive capabillities makes it easy to capture rear outposts, eliminate player characters, and dominate the game.
Battlefront should either feature weaker Heros like Boba Fett that at least obey some of the same rules that standard units do, just with more versatillity or strength, or if you want the game to be about powerful hero units fighting alongside standard infantry, you should make the game spawn you as those hero units and balance the game around that.
As it is in Battlefront II, the game is like playing a wack version of League of Legends where you spawn as minions and are forced to earn points until you unlock the chance to play as a Champion for a single life. As a minion you have no hope of beating a Champion, so if you die, you are pretty much guaranteed a loss. If you want the game to be about the Champions, skip the bullcrap and start everyone off as Champions!
