Remember kids: when Uncle Delta tells you he has sweeties, he isn't lying.

The Black Chapter

People blindly hate MLG, because they stupidly throw the competitive players that beat them to a pulp online and MLG in the same category. MLG is good for gaming, and people are dumb for hating on it simply because they aren't good at multi player games. A little harsh, but entirely true.
'entirely' true?
Bang your head?
I've always been rather decent at the old vidya gaming, but never of the mindset of seeing it as something to be taken seriously on multiplayer. I wouldn't say I dislike MLG as an entity as that would be pretty silly, but the mentality required for it, especially in games where you can't control your own servers (so pretty much the majority of console games), is at odds with how I play.
Don't get me wrong, I'll play to win every now and then on Halo or Battlefield, but if I see someone on the other team just jumping around and having a bit of fun I'll leave them to it - the difference between the more relaxed types and MLG types is that an MLG fan/player seems to constantly be in 'competitive mode' with no off switch.
Its all about how seriously you view multiplayer gaming.
Like I said at the beginning of my post, nothing against MLG or their players, and really if they're in their own servers/gametypes, perfect - its just the attitude that some seem to bring that gives me a bad impression.
See me landing a jet in the middle of nowhere on BF3 - leave me to it damnit!
