Subject: Crysis vs Halo

Which game series do you think is better and why?

Personally I think Crysis

Crysis doesn't shy away from its targeted audience, which is 16 year olds and above. There's strong language, some innuendo, and there's the killing of humans. Halo is targeted at the same age group but with its politically correct language and the violence is way too dumbed down. Crysis is more realistic, and it makes Halo look like a game for pre-teens if you ask me.

The enviroments are detailed, realistic and immersive, aided very much by the immense graphics. It feels like the city is real.

The story is simple yet with gripping elements to it.

The aesthetics are cool and add to the immersion.

The gameplay, even on Recruit, is challenging and requires a lot of strategy, and there's always a wide variety of methods and play styles available.

But Halo has some things over Crysis

More enemy variety

Bigger sandboxes

The story is bigger and more immense even if slightly ridiculous

Better multiplayer and the inclusion of other gamemodes such as Forge and Firefight.

What do you think? And tell us why

I never got into Crysis 2 and Halo died for me at 3.
So secret option C:

Anything else.

I'll bring the tritium laser cutters if you bring the beer!

Funny story.

Halo is slowpoke.

Halo actually has stuff going for it other than graphics.

Shiny graphics, a bad story, and even more lackluster gameplay.

I only liked the first two Halo games.
Same with Crysis, but I do have a feeling Crysis 3 will still be a letdown like Halo 3.

To each his own. I personally thought the graphics were amazing, the story was good and it was fun to play

I think it will be more like Crysis 2 but you can definitely tell they're bringing elements from Crysis 1 such as the forest enviroment

Oh no doubt the graphics are amazing, it's simply the rest that fails to deliver. The story felt bland and the gameplay out of place. For one example, it was rather a bother that a standard Korean soldier would need an ENTIRE assault rifle magazine to be brought down, maybe more. It proved unrealistic, annoying, and tedious.

What difficulty? On easy I was killing them with a few bullets.

Normal. This was the first Crysis and despite the nice graphics, it turned me off to any more about it. They're the same makers of Far Cry of which has the same bullet sponge human enemies which I wasn't a fan of either.

I guess so. I just assume they're wearing bullet proof vests or something

Gameplay looks boring for some reason, and from what i've seen the enviroment looks too much the same, i prefer diversety.

Now that you say it it's quite true. Every mission in Crysis 2 is set in urban enviroments. Crysis 1 had a bit more diversity, there were beaches, villages, mountains, and alien structures.

I loathed Crysis 2 campaign but the multiplayer was surprisingly good. Crysis 1 had a good campaign, though.

iPhone 4S 64GB Black.

You can't compare Crysis to Halo. Halo 3 is perfection.

Multiplayer is good yes, but I think Crysis has a better campaign. Its quite hard saying that though cause Halo 3 has so many memories

I don't know, I just never got into it. Maybe stealth kinda ruined it as it was perhaps stupidly easy to walk past and avoid everyone. I gave up somewhere on the 3rd level and headed back to multiplayer.
