The Slender Man. I remember when he was just a few pictures on Something Awful, and now all I hear about is that retarded Slender game.

One does not choose a destiny, his destiny is bestowed, shaped and formed, from the soul.

No one admits it, but everyone loves being the first on the train.

For me, it was Gravity Falls and The Catcher In The Rye.
Considering Catcher In the Rye was published over 60 years ago, it is hard to believe you liked it before it was popular.

It's just now becoming really popular at my school, and I liked it when it was unheard of here.
That's because most people don't read that book outside of school.

Derp.

So? This changes nothing.
Just because nobody thinks it's popular at your school [likely high school, when most people read it the first time] doesn't mean it isn't popular everywhere else. It's an American classic.

Inheritor #156 :p

I remember using Skype back in 03/04 for Counter Strike 1.6 when we used to have scrims :p worked a lot better having your mic constantly on instead of having to press a button every time to talk.

So you went to the trouble of clicking on my profile, either to send a group invite or hate message, or to check my Halo stats and call me a BK. I like Peanut Butter Waffles.

I guess you could say Slenderman. I found out about him when I saw that now-pinned thread when it was first made. It was before everyone at my school became obsessed with him this year at least.

That book is still terrible.

I honestly don't think that you're deep enough to understand how awesome that book is. Holden Caulfield is a pretty profound guy. His views are pretty much identical to mine.

"Things you liked before they were popular" doesn't have to just refer to the scope of the world. It can refer to any scope.

He's a whiny hypocritical rich kid with severe personality disorders. He's not deep, he's an idiot.

A lawyer's salary can buy a hell of a lot of Asian prostitutes, and that's pretty much all I care about.

Poorly, and with a screen-door style security system?

Mumford and Sons. They're one of the few things I'll lay claim to having heard before others, but a friend linked me to the Little Lion Man video on YouTube at well under 100,000 views and gave me their album shortly thereafter.

Given the situation he's in, he has every right to whine. And he never contradicted himself. How is he a hypocrite?

Senderman. It was honestly destroyed by all the stupid games and whatnot. I remember when only a number of people knew about it, and marblehornets had new entries every week.

Slender Man before that god awful game was made and then everyone was like "hurr durr lets all dress up as slenderman for halloween"

This, but I also like the game since it makes me cry from scaredness.
