So do you love me, despite knowing I will always hate you?

Most of humanity is selfish, but they pretend they aren't. These phonies are one of my main qualms with modern-day society.

A lawyer's salary can buy a hell of a lot of Asian prostitutes, and that's pretty much all I care about.

Poorly, and with a screen-door style security system?

Depending on what you are, it could be to pass on your genetic information to the next generation and die.

For humans, I would say that our point is summarized by something that my mother (and I suspect many of yours) always said: leave it looking better than it did when you found it.

As a human? Yes.

As a collection of ideas? No.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

It's established, it doesn't matter what form you're in, you love me. Which means you would die to protect me, thank you Garem. I will gladly not return the favor.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Life doesn't have an inherent meaning. To me, that is more beautiful, that I can mold my own life as I please and pursue my dreams, than the assumption that I am restricted to a definitive "meaning," I'm required to fulfill.

What if a species transcends those needs? A machine could randomize a new file and create an entirely new personality and since they're made of data at the core, they're technically immortal. Are they not life?

Life is but a soup of chemical reactions that has gained sufficient complexity to be considered separate from the inanimate. The transition from inanimate to animate is actually a gradual thing, it's not at all black and white.

Reproduce and then die to make room.

Anything else is just there to pass the time until your inevitable death.

That's simply untrue. Human life is much more than that.

In the short term, life is something wonderful and to be cherished.

In the long term, we're all just metaphorical leaves moments away from being blown away by the metaphorical wind.

Better luck next time buddy.

I believe reproducing our selves is the main goal of our civilization but with the needs we have created to fulfill our time, I'd say we tend to wish to differ from the rest of the population.

I find it funny how people think that soup can create the uber complex thing we know as life.

Unto the Fray we go

In truth, to seek for an answer to those questions is pointless.

All of these questions are ones with no answers to them. The road is endless, never ending.
