Chilled Burrito's statement that "The human smiles at his frown" conveys very thought-provoking points about human nature. "The smile" may represent a man (or woman)'s taking pleasure or happiness in deceiving, cheating, or immoral acts. Showing how he gives into temptation. The "frown" may be the collapse of the old ideas held by humanity that would in turn "frown" upon such immoral acts and it can represent the collapse of human nature and society. The "human" himself can be seen as all of humanity, where each human has his own sins and bad acts, and the "smile" in this sense can represent the idealization of sex, drinking, and other morally questionable deeds in modern society, and the "frown" would be the older generations looking upon it with distaste. This analyzation brings out stark conflict between the ages of old and new that struggle to create "smiles" and "frowns" and how they differ and how the "smiles and frowns" of society are ever changing ideals that no one "human" can, infact, control.
