Right... umm about Lasky...

Right so... ugh...

Okay well does anyone feel that 343's replacement of Cortana and Johnson (Lasky) isn't sufficient?

I think that Lasky is a nice character, he's likable and respectable, we've also definitely been shown a great side of him from the Forward Unto Dawn movie, but I'm more unhappy at 343 rather Lasky.

If 343 decided Lasky was going to be Johnson and or Cortana's replacement, that's a pretty poor decision.

A better replacement isn't someone who follows the Chief, but considers the Chief an equal, like Sgt. Johnson.
Lasky is nice to be around in the Campaign, that's for sure, but I'm not so sure that the Chief should be accompanied primarily by Lasky.

You might ask, what about the Arbiter? I doubt it. He doesn't fulfill the role, however he is a good companion to fight alongside with.

Does anyone think we're kind of out of people for the Chief to fight with? If 343 brings back Chief's old team with Kelly and everyone it will be pretty difficult putting their roles in the right place, they could end up like Noble Team relationships, dysfunctional and unlikable at times.

OH!
And can anyone tell me, since apparently Halsey got on board of the infinity in some Spartan Ops mission, wouldn't Cheif's team be out of the Micro-Dyson sphere as well? I haven't read the newer books yet so I don't know.

Johnson got no replacement in Halo 4.

Lasky is more reminiscent of Capt. Keyes. Sadly, predominant absence in gameplay and lack of associated easter eggs (Capt. Keyes had a name tag, a pipe, and the Megg) makes him less memorable.

We should know better, because we are better.

Yes, Chief's team is out of the sphere. They are still alive and well, they just haven't met up with Chief yet.

Halo 3's NPC system must return for Halo 5 if any NPC is featured!

Why would you think that lasky wpuld replace johnson and cortana? seriously why would you think that? thats a stupid thing to say.

And anyway if someone was gonna replace cortana it would be another AI or cortana model, as cortana said in the game. And why would lasky be replacing 2 characters?

Well Sgt. Stacker showed up, but it was for just one moment in the campaign.

Clearly you have a problem interpreting things. Serious issues dude.
