Kim is the most common family name in Korea. In South Korea in 1985, out of a population of between roughly 40 and 45 million, there were approximately 8.8 million Kims — roughly 20% of the population. So don't be surprised if you find a Korean whose last name is Kim.
Hmm, I bash others about how unoriginal people's names are when they name their profiles "Spartan 117" or "Master Chief" (almost always mispelled, like without spaces or Cheif), but now that I think of it my name isn't so original either.
And Korean BBQ is delicious. I eat it every once in a while.
