Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

I don't read Marvel, but killing of Peter Parker seems like a bad move. That is like killing off Batman and replacing him with Joker (I know Bats did die, but at least Nightwing took up the mantle.). I think Doc Oc will be Spider-Man for a few years, then Peter will come back and take over his body again.i give it 10 months.
Seems a bit short, but much of the reaction I have seen to this change is negative.
Off topic: do you read any Valiant series? how long did it take them to bring Cap or Thor back?
I haven't. Good?
I don't know, because I never followed Marvel. However, ten months does seem rather quick to go back on such a big decision (that is only around 20 issues, right?). How they get Peter back is another matter entirely, but maybe Peter's memories overpower Doc's. Wasn't there also one line about a character having a device that can talk to the dead?
Yes, Valiant is great. Archer and Armstrong and XO Manowar are the two I am reading and they both have great moments. A&A is the only comic that can use kung-fu N@zi lamas and pull it off well enough that you laugh out loud.
