Subject: Saddest video games?

What are the saddest video games you've played? The saddest game I've played is The Walking Dead.

The saddest excuse for a video game would be Halo 4.

A sad game overall I can't think of, but I could name any number of sad moments.

I guess Mass Effect 3 can pull at your heart strings pretty damn hard if all hell breaks loose with everyone dying and such.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Shadow of the Colossus and Journey.

decla1mer104 - Origin (BF3)

I couldn't think of any remotely sad games. I'd say Mass Effect 3 to some extent.

The Walking Dead. Honestly the first and only game to actually make me emotional enough to cry.

There's just no happiness at all in the game. It's so depressing.

Shadow of the Colossus.

I hope you're feeling sorry for the colossi and not that murdering son of a -blam!- who is trying to bring his filthy peasant girlfriend back to life.

OP: I really couldn't pick an overall sad game, just certain parts in the games.

I find "Corpse Party: Blood Covered" and "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows" to be quite sad. Other than that, I can't say I'm really saddened by a game; mostly I'm a heartless person when it comes to that.

Indeed. I don't think I could bring myself to replay it.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

I'm half way through episode 3 now, I feel like everyone I've cared about in the game so far is dead or could die at any minute.

Episode 4 & 5 is where -blam!- goes down.

My troll sense is tingling.

Spec Ops: The Line makes you feel like -blam!- afterwards.

Journey? Odd, I never really found it sad. Emotional sure, but never sad.

Bioshock

Spoilers...
Andrew Ryan's Death by his own 2 yr. old son. That's messed up.

That's all I can come up with. I haven't really played sad games. Halo 4 pissed me off. It didn't make me sad.
