Any one know of a good way to do this? I found a few ways, but I was wondering if there was anything straightforward without to much work.

You mean like burning a movie and then transferring it to a tablet? You need some kind of program that can stitch together the DVD files into one big file, but I think you have to pay money for one.

If you don't care about quality (not saying the quality will be bad), there are plenty of programs that will rip and encode it all in one go for you - just Google something like 'dvd to mp4' or similar. If you want better quality, and don't mind doing some research, you can rip and encode separately - though this does take more time and work.

I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

I suppose you could always burn the movie to a flash drive, connect the tablet to the flash drive via a micro usb converter, and then download the movie to the tablet.

I was looking at the ripping/encoding programs. But I will get better quality if I rip then encode with two different programs?

Yes. Usually those programs don't rip a 1:1 copy of the DVD, in favor of a smaller file size, so the quality isn't as good. I use a program called DVDFab (trial) to rip and then Handbrake (free) to encode. You can probably find a free ripping program if you look hard enough.

edit: This is basically the same exact process I follow.
