A plasma rifle could kill him in a few shots.

He can take Ceph rounds, I assume they use some sort of plasma based technology, and gauss rounds

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

It certainly wouldn't be getting through Armor Mode, and that's if the sangheili even knows where he is.

Bullets can get through. Why would superheated plasma have a problem getting through?

Don't you play like ALL of Crysis killing hundreds of squid aliens? And doesn't his armor do all sorts of -blam!- that puts regular power armor to shame?

Yep, nanosuit puts Mjolnir to shame.

I dont think so. Doesnt the nanosuit have limited power or something of the sort? And mjolnir has rechargable energy shields and it does the same thing the nano suit does. Increase the wearers strength and speed to superhuman levels. Thing is mjolnir increases it too much that a normal human would be badly injured or even killed.

Nanosuit may have armor mode but armor lock is better and armor mode is temporary.

The Nanosuit makes you just as strong, if not stronger, Armor Mode > energy shields, it has many, many more functions along with a built-in AI, and the best part is you don't have to go through augmentations that you only have about 1/2 to 1/3 chance of surviving to wear it. Also, it keeps you alive much, much better than MJOLNIR.

It has limited power, yes, but it can use damn near anything as fuel, so it isn't really an issue. And when you do run out of power, it recharges in seconds.

Armor Lock is a gameplay mechanic, by the way.

Because whatever the -blam!- the Ceph use has trouble getting through.

Plasma would work a hell of a lot better than bullets, but I doubt it'd kill Al outright.

I just remembered something relevant to the covenant vs Ceph debate

The Ceph have guardian units, who are as durable as Ceph heavies and very agile. They alone would be a huge challenge for the covenant

A full military battle between the Ceph and the Covenant isn't even a debate, at least on the ground. The scouts would probably get overrun, and then the Ceph send down their actual military and walk all over the Covenant.

Armor mode doesnt make you completely invincible. It might just be a gameplay mechanic as much as armor lock. And unlike energy shields its more temporary and doesnt recharge as fast nor is it always there. Mjolnir can hold in much more advanced AI anyway. Cortana>>>>>Any other AI in crysis. And mjolnir has alot of functions as well. Its just gameplay that limits them otherwise we'd be too OP.

Armor Mode is just a gameplay mechanic - in-canon, it's much more durable.

Energy shields are permanent, yes, but they're much weaker than Armor Mode.

MJOLNIR doesn't have an AI as standard issue whereas Nanosuits do, so Cortana is a non-factor.

Give me a reminder: what sort of functions?

Thing is ceph weapons arent better than superheated plasma. At least not from what Ive seen in gameplay compared to the damage plasma causes in halo's lore.

If they're weaker than the Covenant's weapons it isn't by much.

I imagine the military would include the giant hunters and squid like vehicles from the first game
