Subject: So, what is the most tired you have ever been?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

I've now been up entirely too long. Yesterday was a nightmare, and I spent most of it holding my wife's hand. I also had a procedure, and was under an anesthetic too. So, counting that as sleep, I have been awake from 11:30 am PST yesterday. Its now 11:18pm PST. I'm waiting on a pizza to be delivered, so I can have dinner, then its time for the wife's pain pills and to change her dressings.

I have this as officially the most tired I have been.

Who can beat me at this?

Proud Spartan II, COG soldier, Hero of time, and crowbar wielding scientist.

Once after a lock-in, when I hadn't slept in 48 hours.

Didn't stop me from eating breakfast.

-blam!- man, what happened? Hope all is well...

The most I've been awake is around 40 hours. All day packing trucks to ship stuff; Direct flight from LAX to Heathrow, then music rehearsal after.

心の中に弱い風が吹いています。

Definitely the time I didn't sleep for 72 hours straight Freshman year when my Architecture final was due. I learned a great lesson that day. Time management.

Vote for me for a free cookie.

When I had to stay up until 4am with my dad to pick up relatives at the airport.

Sorry about whatever happened to your wife.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

I can't.

I think I lasted 36 hrs without sleep, and I was exhausted.

but I wasn't emotionally drained like you

I don't think I've been that tired. I hope you and your wife are okay Charlie.

I've done that flight. United?

I had to get a colonoscopy, she had some work on her sinuses. Mine went smoothly, she had a minor allergic reaction to her anesthesia, which caused her airway to tighten up. When she came to, she was in tremendous pain, and couldn't breath. Because she was panicking, and her airway restricted, her blood O2 levels dropped below the safe point for administering effective pain meds. So we had to ride an ambulance to the ER, then get her admitted to the hospital.

Me being the concerned husband, I stayed there, and awake the whole time. See the person died thread for what I was doing to stay awake...

ALL HAIL GABEN

Stayed up 24 hours for my first time awhile back....as soon as the clock hit 24 hours...I found the nearest thing to lay down on (a couch) and fell asleep within a few seconds.

Nahman Jayden, Eff bee eye. I herd that you're the origammy killah...

Stayed up almost 5 consecutive days in a row last summer
I slept almost a whole day afterwards.
Twas pleasant, but tiring

I don't like Call of Duty or the word "Swag"

I once stayed up too late the night before my football game like almost 4:00. So, I decided to stay up all night and just drink a few energy drinks. Well I played through the game but we lost and we don't lose too much so we had to have a mandatory punishment practice next morning 5 am. So I just stayed up the whole night again since I didn't want to sleep through it and crashed after the morning practice. Words can not describe how tired I was.

Me and my friends went 3 days without sleep the day of, before, and after Bungie Day 2011. Sooo about 72 hours of no sleep.

That really sucks. Hope you're both back to normal soon.

I think I flew British Airways to Heathrow. It was over 10 years ago now, so the details are a bit fuzzy. Being the silly high schoolers we were, we didn't sleep on the plane, and we didn't know we'd have rehearsal for several hours once we got unpacked and settled into our rooms.

I can't sleep in public. I snore REALLY loudly. So, I stay awake the whole flight. When we went to Munich I nearly had enough time to watch all of the Marvel movies in order before we landed.

About 8 years when I use work for BNSF Railway. I was a Conductor in Galvestons Substation, and our route was from Galveston to Rosenberg on the local freight. I was on the conductors extraboard (pretty much what you work when you are new) at that time, and worked crazy hours. Pretty much stayed oncall 24-7-365. The entire time I was employed with them I stayed tired. Fun job with great pay, but you are never home, and always work holidays.

Carpe Diem - Carpe Coffee

Astronomy Picture of the Day!

I pulled a double all-nighter last Spring term to finish my final Physics project, though I managed to sneak in an hour nap in the middle of it all. I'm pretty sure the only thing keeping me awake at that point was the cup of coffee I had every couple of hours after the first day. I slept for a solid 16 hours after that nightmare.

Summer of 2011. Had quite possibly one of the best days ever. Swam with a group of friends for about four hours and then played a good amount of pick up football. Safe to say at the end of the afternoon that I was tired as balls.

Later that night I found myself at a Streetlight Manifesto concert, moshing and being thrown around in a crazy hurricane of a small venue crowd. It was two hours of pure madness.

I pretty much passed out the second my body hit the sheets after all that.

I wish ignorance was a plague.

Getting a total of about 20 hours of sleep in 4.5 days, combined with only eating 2 meals during that time. That sucked.

Nah, I usually feel dizzy for about a minute, but it goes away quickly.

"You get what you put into it."

When Legendary is too mainstream, you have Heroic. When you're the leader of the church of MLGeezus, have Epic in your username, and can't write 'About Me's' to save your life, what do you get?

This guy. And now, an side note: Most things I post contain lethal doses of sarcasm, so be warned, and try not to take me seriously.

Finally, a message to Bungie trolls everywhere.

Went 41 hours without sleep once, and something must have been seriously wrong in that I didn't feel tired as much as I wasn't functioning correctly.

I ended up 'deciding' to go to bed out of pure decision as supposed to being so exhausted that I needed the sleep. Not trying that again.
