There is just something magical about leaning your head back, letting your eyes roll into the back of your head, and taking a piss while floating in the swimming pool.

I am a child of the 1980's so wrestling was on my channel every Saturday at noon. I watched the show Wrestlemania religiously.

Of course I was a huge fan of Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, and the Ultimate Warrior. That era has fond memories for me.

BUT, for me the era of when Hogan went bad and started the nWo was just awesome. Every week my younger brother and I watched WCW Nitro and WWF RAW. We would tape WWF and watch WCW. The problem was towards the end of the 90's both shows were so awesome, that we would be flipping back and forth every few seconds trying to watch Hogan/Goldberg/Sting and then Stone Cold/Rock/Undertaker on the other channel.

As a fan in my opinion you just can't beat those late 90's matches.

Also, what made that era so awesome was you would get pay-per-view caliber matches every Monday/Thursday for free! I remember as a kid the only time you could ever see Hulk Hogan wrestle was on pay-per-view, and during the week he just did pre-recorded bits here and there. You never saw the guy. BUT, then you got PPV every week!

Now, I've tried to get into wrestling a couple of times over the last decade, but I just can't. Maybe it is because I'm older but the wrestlers now a days are a little too "limp wristed" if you know what I mean.

What's your favorite era?

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

WWF Attitude ERA. YOu had the Rock, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Kane, The Undertaker, everyone that was ever in DX all in the prime of thier careers. It was the start of some amazing Exploration in tag team with ladder matches and what not.

The mid-late 90s for me. Because Stone Cold said so!

I don't think that Professional Wrestling is as good as it used to be, but that's just my opinion.

Around the time of the Evolution stable. Those are my fondest memories of wrestling. :-)

Attitude Era. The Ministry. The Corporation. D-Generation X.

Back when the wrestlers were decent performers in and out of the ring. Best storylines as well.

i watched/followed from 05-08 and it went to -blam!- after that, but looking back further the 90's were the best.
