It's one movie.
It's a black comedy satire about nuclear war. It's made by Stanley Kubrick (The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange). It's black and white and it first released 1964.

Here is a trailer

I thought that Jack Reacher was good though I also like Mission Impossible and some of his other films too but I guess Mission Impossible is getting a little overdone and that otherwise Jack Reacher is the best film he's done though I never really took to Last Samurai. I was watching Troy before it though so it might be cos Troy is so good so I dunno really...

And No Country for Old Men is absolutely and utterly brilliant...

that's a good one too

  • 12.29.2012 9:45 AM PDT

1. Half-Life 2
2. Mass Effect 3
3. Mass Effect 2
4. Tie between Halo 3 and CoD4
5. Medal of Honor or Spec Ops: The Line

"You can be larger than life. But you can't be larger than death."

Watchmen
District 9
The Departed

  • 12.29.2012 10:06 AM PDT

The Departed
Good Will Hunting
The Bourne Trilogy (and Legacy if you want, it's not bad.)
Se7en
The Town
American History X
Gladiator
Shutter Island
Warrior
Ocean's Trilogy

Plenty more but that's a good enough list.

And what is Doctor Strangelove like? I've always heard good things but never got around to checking it out.

Edit - Just remembered Limitless, just watched that a couple weeks ago and I thought it was great.

Those are all great films (saw Drive for the first time yesterday), based on those you might like these films if you havn't seen them:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Children of Men
Memento
Another Earth (could have been better, but it's still worth watching just for the concept)
12 Monkeys
Looper (my favourite film of this year)
Seven
Leon

Just some of the top of my head, but I rented The Tree of Life so I'll watch that tonight probably and see how it is.
