The Phantom menace might have been lacking, but the other two were right on the money. Better than return of the jedi and the empire strikes back ten-fold.

Move along, Flood. Confirmed for reaction-monger/troll.

Seriously? So it's illegal to have an uncommon opinion?

Yep. You may get shot at dawn for this.

<(-_-)> Teh mokey is not amused

The thing I don't understand is not how people think the prequels were so bad, but how the original trilogy was so good. It was genuinely boring in some parts and much of the films seemed to exist merely to drag them out and make them seem longer.

Overall opinion, All the star wars films were ok, but not amazing.

Prequels had great casting, but that's about it.

YIPPEEE!!! (little Anakin), by far the worst line ever.

The romance between Anakin and Padme was terrible. Nothing like the bromance between Han and Chewie.

While I'll agree to the Geonosis battle, the love story was still crap. Necessary, but crap.

And the reason people like the puppet Yoda more is the reason the aliens look cool in MIB: They're real. If they did Yoda like the aliens in MIB, I think that would be a nice compromise. But I'm indifferent to the matter, honestly.

Stop banning me please.

Better than Originals. The Orginals were like the Phantom Menace except 3 times as bad.

The only horribly written character was Qui-Gonn Jinn, and I agree that Jar Jar Binks shouldn't have existed. But that's as far as I will go. Anakin might have been whiny but he was what everyone wanted him to be, a cocky hero who has everything taken away from him and turns evil.

The Originals set him up as a noble Jedi Knight who was tragically seduced by the Dark Side. Yet according to the Prequels he was bad from the start, ignoring the orders of his superiors, constantly wanting to be superior to everyone else, and going on at least one genocidal rampage before the end of the second movie.

That's not noble, that's insane. That isn't charmingly cocky, that's arrogantly psychopathic.

Care to give examples?

And just throwing this out there, I thought the droids were pretty cool.

Walk by faith. Dude. Not by sight.

The Ewoks were just an embarrassment.

All that is needed for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

There is absolutely nothing Lucas could have done with the prequels to make them "good". You watched them expecting technology from the 1970s and the same actors.

Welcome to the town of "Diligence." I'm Mayor Due.

I think the prequels failed in creating a galaxy I could give a rats ass about.

The original trilogy had memorable characters, and a reason to fight the good fight, or so it seemed.

The new movies just made it seem like the galaxy was full of annoying races and pompous leaders. Order 66 was a good call in my opinion.

They honestly should have made them all animated, and saved a bunch of money instead or hiring a bunch of actors and suppressing their ability to emote in any form or fashion.

There were some amazing visual effects for sure, but the way the characters were portrayed was awful and insulting.

and the love story between Anakin and Padme was some top notch directing.

Wow, no! Their interactions were tepid at best, even Natalie Portman couldn't do anything with that poor excuse for an actor, Hayden Christensen. All of their scenes were flat and boring.

CrimsonPandaStudios

What ruined the Phantom meace for me was the fact that a child was the only one with the iq to attack the droid facility from the inside.
