no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

Like the title says.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that developers force people to play through their game whether it's single player or multiplayer in order to unlock things that should be already unlocked in the first place.

Why do I have to play for a certain time period in order to unlock a stupid attachments to a weapon? When I bought the game I am entitled to have everything unlocked already. I mean, purchased it with my hard earned money.

Agree?

Whats the point in playing a game if everything is already unlocked for you?

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I was entitled to being a 50 in Halo 3... but I never cared enough. But I was certainly entitled.

Edit: I thought this was locked content you had to buy..

Because I am entitled to it. That's why.

I kind of agree. While locking content on the disc should not be allowed, having a progression system can be nice, if done properly.

That you have to pay more for it.

Except that it applies for every day.

Talk smack, fight back

not at all.

unlocks and crap allow for more replayability. people who complain about zero replayability now would not be impressed.

bad idea all together

That isn't fun.

That's like buying food that's already been eaten.

Unsuccessfully trying to bring science and reason to The Flood...

I don't agree that everything should be unlocked immediately, because that isn't any fun.

But I do agree you shouldn't be level capped from progressing and unlocking things (like in H4). That is just preposterous considering we've paid for the game.

  • 12.29.2012 1:29 PM PDT

Yeah, I should be an SR130 as soon as I start playing!

I agree, I also hate how we pay full price just to use the product but we don't own it.

Im looking at Steam and Apple here.

Of picking it up now you're gone

The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

Blame not the game, blame the player.

For Carnage Apply Within

They think that they have pacified Ireland. They think that they have purchased half of us and intimidated the other half. They think that they have foreseen everything, think that they have provided against everything; but the fools, the fools, the fools! — they have left us our Fenian dead, and while Ireland holds these graves, Ireland unfree shall never be at peace
-Pádraig Anraí Mac Piarais

You're entitled to it? Oh, please. Stop acting like a spoilt little -blam!-. You're entitled to what you -blam!- paid for, which was the game. The only people that are entitled to unlockable content are the people who unlocked it.

Apparently B.net doesn't allow em dashes.

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

Right, and instead of making the game more challenging as you keep playing, why don't we also make each level progressively easier. Yes, yes, that just might work! Full Daedric armor in Skyrim at level 1, Draugers take hours to kill, and by the end of the game your final task is to defeat Alduin with one stab of an iron dagger. See how retardedly boring that would be, OP?

"Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bull-blam!-, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you."-Lemmy of Motorhead

Yeah, which would be completely understandable as the disk locked DLC and DLC withheld until a week the game releases is very unethical, but what the OP is talking about is just silly.

  • 12.29.2012 1:33 PM PDT

No, you're not... You are entitled to the game, as it is designed.

If that is not satisfactory, you are also entitled to not purchase it.

  • 12.29.2012 1:34 PM PDT

Please do not send me group invites.

I don't have this problem on Steam...

I pay for the game. I pay for DLC. I pay for whatever else.

No silly disc involved.

"When I joined the Corps, we didn't have any fancy-schmanzy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon—and we had to share the rock!"

-Sgt. Johnson

No OP when you buy a game you do buy everything on the disc, but all the locked stuff are "surprises" that the developers give to you for free when you progress enough.

Varsity rower

If the game gave you everything to unlock straight up there wouldn't be any incentive to play after you get bored.
