But OP, I have to say this. In Holden's spirit, you are being quite the phony with all these threads and posts.
If Holden had the Internet, I'm sure he would try to convince people to come to his side.Disagree.
He never tried to tell people what bothered him about their behaviors and phoniness. And he wanted to be a deaf-mute so he couldn't talk to people. Why would he use the internet to talk to people?
Holden was no perfect character, by any means. He was a bit phony himself, pretending to be nice to people while secretly hating them. He would have truly been the epitome of perfection if he would've said what's on his mind.I see. So have you spoken your mind to every last person you've met? Being completely honest about everything you felt or thought that was relevant at the time?
