Halo or Star Wars by itself can take 40k. Throw in Mass Effect and it is just merciless.

Halo Array, Dreadnoughts, Centerpoint Station, Galaxy Gun, Sun Crusher, Celestials, numbers, and more win this with ease.

I'd love to see the covenant scarab verse a warhound or reaver titan.

Warhound or Reaver would win pretty easily. On the ground, 40k can win, but when it comes to an all out space battle, it will get its butt handed to it on a silver platter.

If anything Warhammer will be the one handing out the silver platter. They own space battles pretty easily.

The thing is, you're not pitting factions against eachother, you're pitting universes.

Halo has the Forerunners.
Mass Effect has the Reapers.
And hate it though I do, Star Wars has the ability to make entire star systems go supernova.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

The Reapers will win. Just like they were going to.

Most ships in Halo and Stars Wars could 1 shot Reaper capital ships based on the firepower dreadnoughts from ME have.

Why do so many people think Bungie.net's Off Topic forum(AKA The Flood) will win vs Warhammer 40k?

"Battle" isn't even the term I use. Halo and Star Wars safely decimate 40k's forces from systems away.

Because Warhammer 40K is a game. and the Flood forum is made up of people, some who play W40K, others not.

Flood already wins by not playing it all, and the other sect that plays can just not play it. That's how they win.

Are we really debating this?

Fine, Necrons blow up everything with the Celestial Orrey.

Or the Nightbringer blinks and all opposition vanishes.

You don't mess with omnipotent beings.

Centerpoint, Halo array, Sun Crusher, Galaxy Gun, etc.

Nightbringer has not been seen to do this. If we are going by what is unknown, then Star Wars uses the Shawken device and blows up the entire universe, or the Precursors stomp by being impervious to damage.

It's ok. You see, sometimes they the Flood takes these so seriously, it can appear to be real. Happened to me a few times.

Nightbringer or the Void Dragon are full C'tan. And the most recent Necron codex states that C'tan are omnipotent. It doesn't matter what the Black Library book shows Nightbringer's power is. And the Celestial Orrey is far more powerful than any of the one's you listed besides the Shawken device. It can destroy any star they want. Also, if were going to be using the book, Nightbringer, we'll also use the calcs that makes a Necron ship capable of firing a weapon 480,000 times stronger than the Death Star's laser.

And Precursors are hardly impervious, the halo array killed some of them.

Also, this thread isn't talking about what would happen if Chaos is suddenly introduced. Millions and billions of people would start to turn to Chaos.
