Subject: Corrupt ONI officials as enemies in Halo 5

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Never gonna happen. The Halo franchise has always been too scared of killing humans.

Hmmm, I don't know what to say...

How about just a rogue faction of humans? Venezia? I don't know.

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

They're not scared of killing humans. It's not like it's an E rated game Microsoft is trying to sell to all ages.

Humans would be interesting. Especially if Spartans were an enemy class.

-instant death on the spot for damaging civilians and scientists in Halo: Reach and Halo 4 respectively (in Halo 4, this is only at the start of Composer, fortunately not at any other point in the game)
-no autoaim when you make them turn on you
-invincibility 24/7

CE threw invincible marines at you and let you kill Keyes. Halo 4 throws waves of piss poor wannabe Spartans with power weapons and deloads Lasky just minutes after the Mammoth has departed.

It's funny how they setup the humans to be killed by Covies (like that idiotic opening in Everything Has Gone Wrong, not to mention the start of the previous mission, and after you've rescued the marines on Hacksaw and of course, the Mammoth ride on Reclaimer, where they get slaughtered before it even reaches the Pelican crash site) but won't allow us to do it.

We here at ONI are beyond your judgement. All of you will shortly go missing. Have a nice day.

Only if I get to brutally murder Sarah Palmer and teabag her dead body.

Do you really want to know?

Marines for enemies

Halo 1 marines as enemies.

  • 12.29.2012 9:56 PM PDT

Bones of my enemies.

Sure, but your story needs to be tweaked. In all the games and books, people have talked about how bad ONI and specific characters really are (Cortana calling Tilson a bitch in Halo 4, for example). You can go in some interesting directions with that, instead of them turning on the Chief.

I am the God Emprah of Mankind.

Deal with it.

Close, but not quite.

Chief finds out about Halsey and ONI's constant cover-ups of their illicit activity. Chief then follows the Mantle and has to fight against the UNSC to save Humanity from itself.

Sounds way more emotional and deep that way.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Its possible. If the story mirrors the Forerunner Trilogy with Chief in Didact's place.

Didn't ONI supply the religious Sangheili to defeat the arbiter, or at least put them in stalemate?

Humanity is the true enemy.

No, the enemy is Xenos in general you heretic
Do not call me a heretic!

Zealot!

This is Blasphemy!
This is Madness!

Be sure to tell everyone how cool you are. If you don't tell them, they won't know.

That game ONI?

That's just my guess at the moment. I still don't know where Blue Team fits in all of that.

I'm betting on 343's interpretation of ONI being extremely lackluster. Alas, what you propose will be but a dream.

You do know the stories are already written right? You could find out what happens in the game by reading the novel ahead of time...
