Never gonna happen. The Halo franchise has always been too scared of killing humans.
They're not scared of killing humans. It's not like it's an E rated game Microsoft is trying to sell to all ages.
Humans would be interesting. Especially if Spartans were an enemy class. -instant death on the spot for damaging civilians and scientists in Halo: Reach and Halo 4 respectively (in Halo 4, this is only at the start of Composer, fortunately not at any other point in the game)
-no autoaim when you make them turn on you
-invincibility 24/7
CE threw invincible marines at you and let you kill Keyes. Halo 4 throws waves of piss poor wannabe Spartans with power weapons and deloads Lasky just minutes after the Mammoth has departed.
It's funny how they setup the humans to be killed by Covies (like that idiotic opening in Everything Has Gone Wrong, not to mention the start of the previous mission, and after you've rescued the marines on Hacksaw and of course, the Mammoth ride on Reclaimer, where they get slaughtered before it even reaches the Pelican crash site) but won't allow us to do it.
