Keep It Clean!

It is without a doubt one of the best movies I've seen in years, with really good actors and a nice narrative.
It's really one of those movies that make you think about the individual stories and characters and how they tie together hundreds of years later.

I wonder why this movie wasn't shown internationally in theaters.

Have you seen this movie, and what are your thoughts on it?
Also, what is your favorite movie of the year?

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Time put it in one of the worst movies of the year. I never went to see it only because the previews made it look really stupid.

My favorite movie of the year was Lincoln.

B-but how? How is that even possible?
What kind of braindead critic do they have over at Time, really?
Anyone with half a brain would appreciate an amazing movie, with a really unique story and most of all, a unique and fresh cinematic experience.

If someone expected aliens fighting against the Expendables, they are gonna get dissapointed.

If I drank that much coffee I would cry decaf.

I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

It moved very slowly though, and lacked any sort of tension. They couldn't even show Lincoln being shot because it would be too exciting.

GOAT

I saw it.

I was disappointed. They tried too hard to make the connections work. They could have made them smoother.

It is international. I'm here in Holland and it's playing.

I didn't think it was that great, but I didn't hate it. It got very mixed reviews.

  • 12.29.2012 5:34 PM PDT

I really want to see it.

I'm in Finland, but I've not seen it anywhere over here.
Gotta re-check.

Edit: Ah, it's starting to show early next year.

To be honest, in the first hour I didn't know what the hell was going on, but as the story progressed, there were more than a few "Ahaa"-experiences. And that's what I liked about it.

I was happy for that. Too many people go to the movies with the sole purpose of being entertained these days.
