Subject: Is a good K/D worth it?

Goat was famous. Irie was infamous. Gh0st was FaMaS.

My stats in Halol 4

Typical Waypoint post.
no it's "its got to go" you wouldn't say the "it is got to go" would you?

I can't care about w/l in Halo 4 so I do the next best thing: Stat on bad kids.

Yes. Good players will still have a good k/d even when they goof around. Bad players with bad stats simply claim "I play for fun". Funny how that works.

The Song Of Nephilim

I do not care for K/D.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

People who play to get their k/d up, don't have any fun in the game. Yes they might be good, but you can't have any fun while worrying about kd.

lol people like you.

Fun is subjective. People can have fun worrying about their K/D, others can have fun fooling around. Stop thinking playing competitively and having fun are mutually exclusive, because they aren't.

Well in Halo i find its pretty easy to do both but in games like CoD fun > K/D

It's not something which overly matters to me.

Sometimes I play for a good K/D, other times I just play to fool around.

Halo no longer has that chess kind of approach on it where two teams battle for map control, working together to outplay the other team. Its now a bunch of sugar rushed ten year old's playing soccom boppers at 12:00 AM.

Well having "fun" to me is playing to win. So yes.

In H4 I think I generally have a 0.9-1.1 consistently. I have fun more than taking it seriously.

Pure Insanity
The point of war is not to die for one's clan, but it's to make the other bastard die for his
Right before you die, there is always a chance to save yourself, sieze that chance and live to fight another day
The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.
Hidden in the shadows, Clothed in camo, Armed to the teeth. Hunting.

I've never cared much about K/D. To some people, a good K/D is their goal in life. It's somewhat subjective.

If I happen to have a good one, yay! If not, yay!

I play however I feel like playing, and it isn't always the best way to increase my K/D.

Bungie doesn't like French on their site.

Fun for me is keeping up K/D and W/L. It adds to the 'competitiveness' feel for almost all the games I play.
