And you choose to be a dick, so I really don't have to suffer your ridiculous views on my life. How is my view ridiculous? If you don't understand why arbitrarly identifying with a group to a point where the emotional attachment can affect your mental state then I'm sorry for you.I never said it didn't affect a persons mental state, it certainly could. However, your view is ridiculous because, honestly, who are you to suggest that a particular behaviour is unacceptable? Are you some authority, or what? It makes no sense.

Did I say something that disagrees with your beliefs on acceptable behaviour? Well, that's your problem, you chose to feel that way, be responsible. Those aren't beliefs, your identity is a choice. You did choose to be insulted, I didn't choose to insult you.Yes they are beliefs, and identity is not always a choice. It's affected by your circumstances, and often your experiences. If someone is insulted, it's irrelevant if they chose to be, they're still insulted, and you're still a dick. And you most certainly choose to insult a person, if you make derogatory remarks about them, or a group they identify with.
What I'm getting at is, people are allowed to do what they want. If they choose to live their life identifying with a group, then thats fine. But that doesnt mean you get to say "blah blah blah, you're stupid, you should conform to my views on how people should behave, blah blah blah".
Get the -blam!- over yourself, and learn how to be a decent human being.
