Subject: Villain of the Year?

Be not afraid, for the forest nymphs have taught me how to pleasure a women.

Well Flood...there's only a day left(not counting today) in 2012...so...what villains stick out in your mind from this year.

They could be from anywhere...novels...books...movies...anything.

Just one thing...NO SPOILERS. You can list the name but don't be like:
"Jack Torrence from the Shining! I can't believe how he just froze in the maze like that!"
Okay?

Mine would have to go with Silva from Skyfall.
Awesome villain. Crazy accent and everything. Super memorable.

And this is coming off of last year with the Silence which I thought would be hard to beat.

What does the rest of flood think?

I've got a fan!

Silva was cool, I just can't quite put a finger on what evil he committed besides take revenge on a woman that screwed him over.

Captain Del Rio.

"I am ordering you... TO SURRENDER THAT AI!"

Truly a performance on which future antagonists will be measured against.

Fix'd.
OT: Raul Menendez
CoD doesn't really come out with great stories like they did this year. Menendez was truly a compelling villain.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself

Didact.

So deep, so original and unique. Memorable conclusion, truly a step forward in being a villain.

So Force choking people and talking -blam!- is the next step for being a good villain?

Handsome Jack. He was memorable, crazy, hilarious, and incredibly evil. Never got tired of hearing or seeing him.

Menendez was a close second, though. He was insanely evil and compelling. I hated him even after (SPOILERS) you kill him, he still wins (END SPOILERS).

Also, Silva from Skyfall and Joffrey from Game of Thrones are some pretty nasty pieces of work, as well.

No, the fact he took the old classic villain(Vader) and reused it so great is why he deserves it, in that posters mind.

Handsome Jack

The thing about Handsome Jack is that he is a good character but not a good villain.

He's just so light hearted and his constant toilet humour makes it hard to actually hate him or want to defeat him.

Probably when Halo: Silentium comes out in March and the villain actually has context...5 months after the game comes out.
