I seriously suggest playing To The Moon if you like good game stories. Also Bastion has a great story.
To The Moon makes me cry erry tiem.
Also, i forgot to mention Heavy Rain. I thought it was pretty damn good.
Also, Ib and Amnesia have great stories

Original Bioshock.

Would you kindly?

Great game, easily in my top 10 of all time.

Dragon Age: Origins

Picked it up in the Steam sales, haven't played it yet. Looks like it was a good choice.

The Walking Dead game.

Also loved this game, first video game to ever make me cry.

I liked Bastion, so I'll check out To The Moon. It's only $5 on Steam.

No one has said The Elder Scrolls yet?

Just Morrowind in this case.
Oblivion's and Skyrim's stories were not bad, just lacked substance.

The constant back and forth struggle between the two paddles is done so amazingly.

Don't have a PS3, unfortunately. I doubt I could convince my brother to get anything on the PS3. He won't even buy Journey.

Amnesia was a surprisingly good story, I liked it.
What's Ib? I've never heard of it.

Tell your bro to buy Journey and HR NAOW.
Also, Ib is hard to explain, so pretty much play it and see for yourself. It's similar to To The Moon.

I want to say Gears of War but by the end of the third game you still know next to nothing about the locust, their origins and the Queen.

Didn't particularly enjoy the Gears of War series.

In no particular order:
Assassin's Creed series
Mass Effect series
Halo series
Lost Odyssey
Eternal Sonata
Final Fantasy VII,X
Knights of the Old Republic
Bioshock

I've played a decent amount of those, I'll look into some of the others you listed that I haven't played.

Fallout games overall have nicely stylized stories, I also like the StarCraft and WarCraft lore.

I wish, he's the most unreasonable person.
I'll check out Ib if it's on PC.

I have Deus Ex & Human Revolution. I liked the early Resident Evils. Wasn't too fond on Metro or Dishonored.
I'll look up Primordia

I'm waiting for Fallout 1 & 2 to go cheaper on Steam. If not I'll get 'em off GOG or something on the final day of the sales.

1. Halo
2. Mass Effect
3. Fallout
4. Command and Conquer (Tiberium Setting)
5. CoD: Modern Warfare (Excluding MW3)
6. World in Conflict

Those are some I just thought of.

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

I think Spec Ops: The Line deserved a special mention.
