Thanks for your input. I found that it started fairly strong and then the age old tale of decreasing in quality as it runs longer rears it's ugly head. But I just can't stop loving Takane!

Sir, may we ask that you tell us why you found said anime did not meet your standards? Note that we are not in anyway suggesting that your taste is -blam!- or that your opinions are less valid than anyone else's. We simply would like to collect user testimonials so that other members maybe be able to use findings in determining whether or not said anime is right for them. Thank you for your time.
A lot of it is probably a matter of preference (I'm not really one that's big on the whole moe/slice of life thing, with some exceptions). The show waited too long to do any actual character development, and since most of the serious -blam!- went down in the last 5-6 episodes, the supposed emotional moments had little to no impact on me. Again, these types of shows typically aren't my deal, so I may just be the wrong person for it. Briefly put.
And I have a firm belief that the whole iM@S franchise hypnotizes people and ruins lives.
Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining for me on a certain level, and some of the issues that came up were actually some things that were semi-relatable (I play in a band, not the same thing but you get the idea). It also probably didn't help that I did 19 episodes in one night, so there's that.
You're a Takane kind of guy, eh? Even though I don't hold the show in very high regard, I'm not exempt from having a favorite idol. I'm a Miki man.
