that is short for game to be made Halo 3 is what 2 years they have been working on it ..

The way I see it is, You can put Halo 2 along with multiplayer on a disc together and they were pretty good BUT, if they had a disc for Campaign then more could be put onto the Campaign, same with Multiplayer disc.
About your signature. "Cheif," is actually spelled Chief. Also in the last you have "Maste."

If it is was unavoidable then yes it would make sense to split the game into two disks but only if it made the game function better.

Ok...
I completely forgot about the fact that these discs are 9 gigs each...
But still, I've got 20 gigs on my hard disk dedicated to music, videos, and pictures.
The amount of time that a game's cutscenes and gameplay equals is the same, if not more, than a feature length film. I can barely get that much time by playing all my music one track after another.
I'm no programmer, but it seems to me that with the sheer amount of data needed on a game disc, they'd exceed 9 gigs.

But somehow they do it. So sorry.
I would be thrilled if they could exceed that, though.
